Citadel Equipment Finance Darin Charin Lease scam Santa Ana, California

I was solicited by fax by Citadel Equipment Finance and told that I was "Pre-approved"for an equipment loan. After contacting Darin Charin, (Senior finance consultant), I was told that they also would finance a car lease. All of the details were completed with the car dealer and all of the information was sent to Citadel Equipment Finance. I was "approved" for the lease and was told to overnight the first and last payments plus a processing fee (via fax machine). The payment was over $4000.00. Citadel cashed the check the next morning, as I contacted them to go to the next step. No response. Left messages. no response. Sent emails. no response. Sent a letter FedEx. No response.

When the bank statement arrived, a copy of the check showed no banking information, and an illegable signiture endorsement. It must have been cashed at a check cashing outfit as part of the scam. This has been going on for five weeks now. It's just unbelievable that this bunch of clowns can get away withis scam again and again. They seem to selectively pick their victoms based on the State that they live in.

I have filed a Police Report with the New York City Police Dept. as per my bank's instructions.

Don't get ripped off like me. These characters have a well planned and constructed scheme. They also have a FF rating by the Better Business Bureau. They appear very professional in their web site and on the internet. These "positive ratings" are easily planted.
