on or about sept 02/06 I received a phone call about my wifes sears account(citi group/citi bank)my wife had over looked the account for $25.00 from the previous month. I told the citi rep that and also about my condition and told her that she got paid on the 7th of sept and that she would go in and pay $90.00 on the 7th of sept. well I received a call or 2 every single day with a vulgar acting person from citi group.I said is there anything about paying the bill on the 7th you don't understand?then they became very vocal and I terminated the call. well on the 7th my wife went to sears in greenville,n.c and paid $90.00 at 6:30 pm after she got off work as sears does not open till 10:00am and my wife has to be at work at 10:00 am. the statement said the bill was due on the 12th of sept and would be delinquent after that.well the citigroup called again on the 7th&the 8th by this time I had had it and told the woman off after I gave her the confirmation number and the store,reg,assoc# and the whole nine yards,I was told it could take 2-5 business days for it to post.My reply was that I have no control of when and if they post the payment and I did have my receipt that we paid the bill when we said we would.I did tell them that I had made my last purchase from sears/k-mart and by the end of oct 2006 I would pay them everything and cut up the card and send to the sears corp office. even if it took them(an attempt to collect past due charges)5 days my bill still would be paid on time. for those of you who say my wife should not have forgotten to pay the bill she was busy tending to me after quadruple bypass surgey and had me and my health in mind.I was home after surgery.
