Yes believe me you could not say enough about both companies. Citicorp, Smart Solutions and Primeamerica lets not leav out Advantage Settlement located in Huntington, L.I.

We were talked into refinance with Citicorp and primamercia using smart solutions. To make a very long story short, we went to closing in October 2005, but did not close because the paperwork was incorrect. The second week of November 2005 we finalize the loan. But guess what smart solutions handed in the first set of paper, without our authorization to proceed and proceeded to send out the checks to our first mortgage company. Now the crap hits the fan. I find out and call the representative who we were dealing with, and this is very hard on her, because she is family, so she proceeds to call the so called individuals at smart solutions. Well smart solutions state there is no way that could happened. My daughter in law has been trying to get this mess cleared up, she herself is totally disgusted with the way smart solutions handled this mess and most of all especially with both Smart Solutions and Citicorp.

Now the long part, I know I said I would make this short but believe it or not we are still in this nightmare. It is now January 28th and still there is no solutions. We arranged for our mortgage payment to be deducted from our checking account on the 6th and 21st of each month. It stated with them automatically taking out both loan amounts from our checking account, which ran havoc on our checking account and other bills. I had so many over drafts due to them withdrawing duplications. We finally had to have our bank stop all actions dealing with Citicorp and automatic deductions. Finally in January 2006, beginning the first week we were told that
everything was taken care of and the first payment would come out on the 5 and then again on the 21 of January. As you can guess they never took the money out on the 5th, but did on the 21, only to have it go back into the account on the 22nd.

It seems Citicorp never bother to send in the new paper work which would allow them to do the automatic deductions from our checking account. I called my bank and told them to deduct the amount out of the checking account. We have so far paid them for the month of December, but only made one payment for the month of January. We were told to not to send anything and that we will be getting a telephone call to set up check over the phone transaction for the January 5th payment. We are still wating for this telephone call.

But instead of that telephone call, we are now getting collections calls, 4 to 5 times a night and 5 times
during the day on weekends, stating we are delinquent. We have been in constant touch with a representative from Citicorp a Mr.Gardner, suppose to be a VIP of mortgage loans, Ken Lowe, Research Services, who did all the research to make sure everything will run correctly, so far no one had the time to get back to us.

Even my daughter-in law is on the telephone with this problem every day for hours since this mess came to head. She is totally at a lost as to why so called intelligent professional representative of Citicorp and Smart Solutions, are not smart enough to get this finalized and start the process rolling inthe correct direction and to the correct account.

We are in limbo regarding this mortgage, which now I wish I never gotten into. The last conversation I had was that Mr.Gardner would be in touch, that was two weeks ago. Still no word from him. But I do get the nasty telephone calls. from Citicorp collections. Please put this on the rip off site so everyone can be aware of the terrible way smart solutions and Citicorp does business.

I am now on medication for my nerves and I feel on the verge of a breakdown. This can cause us to lose our home if it is not taken care of. We need HELP
