Obtained auto financing with Citifinancial Auto in 2007. Discovered that auto salesperson changed my income in order to obtain the financing with Citifincial. Totally changed paystub and submitted it to Citi. I knew nothing of this income change at the time I purchased the vehicle. the income I provided that day was original documents, not copies. signed documents believing that my true income was used in this purchase.

Tried to prove to Citifin. that this occured-pointed out errors, provided originals-nothing seems to be helping. Looking into other ways to prove my case and/or to receive justice: State License Disaplinary Complaint Board (on the salesperson) the FTC, BBB, FED RESERVE as well and anywhere else I can find. I have argued with Dispute Resolutions Dept Manager as well.

Basically saying that I signed the loan agreement so I was stating that the income used was to be correct. I did not fill out any loan agreement papers myself, nor do I recall seeing any income typed or written in on anything at all. These people are HORRIBLE! They know nothing about customer service or even care about customers in general. I have felt like it did not matter what has happened in this situation. I am going to take this as far as I possibly can to have the contract voided and to see that all people involved in this be convicted to the full extent of the law.

a total b*tch

CITIFINANCIAL AUTO-Failure To Review Documents For Fraud- loan professionals do not review documents for authenticity and accuracy TEXAS

AUTHOR: Kittie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 27, 2008

Just wanted to add to my complaint: I don't know what else I should have done that day when I purchased the vehicle. I trusted in the dealership for I had worked with them on previous occasions and everyone there were always professional and honest. I had always taken with me Original documents for income verification, address verification, etc. I am so very stressed out about this situation. Its not like I am not glad I have the vehicle but the whole fraud/deception thing about it is what really bothers me.

I do not want to be a part of this contract with Fraud attached to it. I am not exactly sure how it could come back on me if it were to down the road, but I dont want to find out either. Banks and financial institutions are supposed to review documents for authenticity and accuracy-I am wondering why this passed by them, it is clearly fraudulent. There are many errors: things out of place (if comparing it to an original paystub) and On a paystub that is printed on watermarked paper there should not be anything crossed out or scribbled out. I feel that the dealership and Citifinancial have some kind of relationship where they do these things all the time. Sooner or later I hope they get caught!
