City Pulse Failure to verify basics, outright misrepresentations, yellow journalism. Lansing, Michigan

There was a house a few years back, that Ocwen Federal Bank had tried to illegally foreclose on, after they bank committed insurance fraud.  In court the bank was found guilty of violation of the Consumers Act, by a jury in Lansing Michigan.  Ocwen refused to repair the house or give up the insurance money and the house had to be torn down even AFTER the bank lost in court, as the bank appealed the cases for over seven years (how did the courts allow that?).

Meanwhile the owner was unable to live in her home.  The City PUlse fired the writer, but never retracted the badly written and slanderous piece stating the owner "abandoned" the house!  THe article is still circulating the internet several years later, harming the homeless owner. 

City Pulse NEEDS to take responsibility and retract the article or at least remove it from the internet.
