Classic and Performance Mustangs Stolen parts, Shoddy work, job never completed, car held for ransom Denver , Colorado

I just got my car back after a year and 4 months of waiting. The "total restoration" was supposed to take 1 year but the project was not even close to being finished.

It's obvious that Terry is willing to lie to get your car in the shop then once he has it torn down into a million parts he puts the screws to you. He gives an estimate than ends up doubling it. He got mad when i provided a few of my own parts because he marks up the parts about 40% over retail 

He also took parts from my car and sold them to other customers or kept them for his own use. In my case a set of NEW Goodrich TA radials on good condition rims disappeared and he said he didn't have room for them and he threw them out. Not likely. My exhaust system  and several other parts also went missing. Some of the parts that were with the car when I picked it up were broken.

His workmanship is also a joke. Any average body shop could do as well. His welding is  so poor a nutless monkey could do a better job. I don't know about his mechanical skill since I pulled that part of the project from him months ago when I found out he has  ZERO guarantee on his work. 

He also burned a huge hole in my back seat while working on the car and never mentioned it. The project never got finished and despite being paid for in advance, he tried to take a final shot by holding my car for ransom threatening to sell it if I didn't pay his price.

As one of the other reports said "this guy belongs behind bars" He is indeed a spineless gutless weasel and I cant imagine why the city has allowed him to remain in business. Maybe after my lawyer gets through with him he wont be.
