Classmates Inc. Hoover...I think it said recurring charge of 39.99 on my bank statement, I had only tried a trial version years ago Seattle Washington

     Today while checking our bank statement we found a charge for  39.99 on our statement

a recuring one that is, from Classmates Inc. We had never noticed such before. Apparently it must

have been happening every year. We could not fathom what it was. I looked up the company

and it is the website Classmates.com....I did look at it years ago they had a 30 day free tril and

you had to pay afterward. I decided I did not want the membership since I didn't see much they

offered. We had even had that account changed! I don't know how they got the numbers, since we

had a breakin and it was all changed.  I waited on the phone for fifteen or twenty minutes and

got cut off, had to call again, got number two which was marketing, and of course she could

not help me and switched me back to one, with another long wait, just to find out they said I

had been a member for years and the payment had been there and you can not cancel. The thing

is I never joined!  I have been paying apparently but never got any benefits!  I said I want this thing

cancelled, and I want my money back! She said Mam we don't give money back. That is not right the

charge is for a year and we were just charged.

     I think my membership in that was filed without my knowlege and to their advantage. It is not right
