I purchased a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from them.  I went there because my son purchased his car from there 8 months early and other than it took all day, the experience was not bad. Now, 8 months later...a whole new crew of salesman, over inflated prices, shady dealing, rude managment, incompetent staff.  You name it...it there.  I went to the dealship knowing what I wanted to purchase, I had done some research and knew what the prices should be, I knew my credit score, so I thought I was prepared...not at all with those shady crooks.

First they told me my credit score was 100 points lower than I know it was, then (my bad, because I had the kid with me) I let them push me into the base car for an inflated price, which I know was wrong, but I was trying to get out of there.  When I went to return the car they tried to tell me I could not, they realized I could and I selected a car, I could live with.  Not before they tried to sell it to me for $3000 dollars above the sticker price and thought I would accept that.  Then because I, once again, was in a hurry, they wrote in an extended warranty and gap insurance.  Financed my car through a finance company that charges you extra for paying more on your car (is that crazy or what?) I have never heard of that before.

I then had to wait almost two months to get the owners manual and my second key for my vehicle, which required numeous call and visits to the dealership to get it done.

The lastest drama is, I just paid off my car (I had to get from under that crazy financing, it was ludacrous). So, I went to the dealership to cancel the extended warranty and gap (which they slid in on me) and the finance company only pretended to cancel it, he never sent it in and I did not notice it when they gave me the cancellation, but no one signed it.  So I have been given the run around (district office, nothing...corporate office, nothing,...speak with the sales manager, they give me another run around and I still don't have my refund.

They are slick talking, shady crooks new and used car dealers.  Would not advise anyone buy from them...unless you like being robbed.

Just disgusted (mostly with myself for dealing with them).  Never again.

"Slipped In"???

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, February 13, 2016

If they "slipped in" these extra items, why didn't YOU catch it when YOU read the contract before signing?  What's that???  You didn't even bother to read what you were signing BEFORE you signed it?
