Clear Debt Results Overpriced, Bad Legal Advice, Poor Communication, Worse Off Now Irving Texas

About two years ago I lost my job and was forced to live off of credit cards for awhile, and boy did they pile up quick. I finally started a new job (albeit making next to nothing), and things got a little better until my payments went up and up.

I started looking for ways to manage, I tried getting a consolidation loan and failed due to my cards being near maxed-out. That's when I ran into Clear Debt Results via a web search which took me to their debt screening tool, which showed me getting out of debt for about half of what I owed. I called a representative and signed up for the program.

Here I am about a year later and absolutely nothing. My creditors will not deal with CDR. I keep referring them over, and trying to get CDR involved, but they don't do a darn thing for me. Therefore my balances have gone up due to interest, and I'm now incurring over-limit fees. My debt problems have gotten worse, not better, since involving CDR, and they still bill me for their services (even though I try to kick them to the curb).

They've put me in an even worse financial situation and I've since filed for bankruptcy which I should have done in the first place. If you're in that bad of shape, I recommend that you don't waste your time with CDR or similar companies and just file bankruptcy that way you get court protection. Sure, it ruins your credit, but I'm pretty sure your credit is already shot by the time you'd involve CDR anyway.
