Clearview Lending, Never say that it can't happen to you. Scam Loan Companies Orlando Florida

My husband and I were rip-offed by Clearview Lending. They presented themselves as a legitimate brokerage firm that worked with lenders to give loans to people with not-so perfect credit.

Before saying yes to this company and paying them close to $1800.00, I researched this company, so I thought from top to bottom. I looked them up with the Better Business Bureau and when I spoke to the first representative, Andrew Simmons, I questioned him about what larger company they are a part of, and he told me that the companies that they work with, usually only loan to businesses, but because of the economy they were extending their credit to non-business owners. When the paperwork came, everything looked legit, so I sent in the information they requested.

My husband was skeptical the entire time, but we needed the money, so we took a chance. I went to Walmart and sent the money via Western Union Wire transfer to a Candadian address.After the first transaction of $880.00 went smoothly, we thought that our problems were over, but they were just beginning.

I received a phone call the next day from Glenn Russell, who stated that there was something wrong with my paper work and that I needed to send in an additional $880.00 to correct the problem. The problem was that the company wanted more collateral for the loan since we had come back as a red-flagged loan.

The next day I received a phone call from David Gray who stated that he was the manager of the department and was calling to inform me that the lender had pulled out of the loan and he wanted to know if I wanted to request a refund of the money we had sent or if I wanted them to find another lender, for an additional $1700.

I told him that I needed to talk to my husband and would call him later to give him my answer. I called him back later that night and requested a refund. At that time he told me that he would put in the refund request and that that were willing to also pay any late fees that I had accumulated waiting on the money. He also informed me that the company was in the process of suing the company that had backed out on the loan and that it would be November 28th, before the money would be put back into our account.

I inquired why would it take so long and he said that they had to wait until the end of the company's billing cycle in order to refund the money. I tried several times to have Mr. Gray talk to my husband, but he refused, he even hung up in his face, stating that he could not talk to anyone who did not take out the loan.

The longer we talked the ruder he became, he even at one point and time was so rude that he became a smart-a*s, after I questioned him about the legitimacy of his company. Stating that I was insulting him. After a while, I realized that I was not getting anywhere with him, and it would soon turn into a shouting match, so I just hung up. Knowing deep in my heart, that I just lost $1800.00, that I didn't really have to give.


Beware of this company or any company that ask you to put up money up front for anything. There's a special place in hell for David Grey, Glenn Russell and Andrew Simmons. Taking advantage of people who they knew were hurting. May God have mercy on their soul.
