So my wife and i were walking through our local mall and we were approached by a female about checking out their internet service, so we walked over to their kiosk and i told the girl i was not to sure about it because i had never heard of their company and she proceeded to tell me they were all over the U.S. and had just reached Portland and was spending 2 million dollars on advertising next month i also had concerns about the coverage area and she told me anywhere in portland would be fine so i bought it for 69.99 and agreed to a 6mbps plan for 44.95 per month this is a wireless isp so i was again skeptical but i did it anyway, I got home and hooked up their product and could not get any service ( Surprise Surprise ) so i called tech support and got the run around basically i still have not got my money back and do not want anyone else to go threw this so if you see clearwire internet co. BEWARE tell them to kick rocks or you to will be as pissed off as i am.

There is a 6Mbps plan and it is available through our WiMax service, available in Portland.

If you check out the Clear.com website, you can see the plans that your salesperson was talking about.

If you have any questions, you can contact us at clearwire.twitter@clearwire.com or find us online at http://www.twitter.com/clearwire.

There has NEVER been a 6mbps plan available from Clearwire for Internet Service! It appears this individual may be modifying the truth to make his issue look better! Customers are also given a 7 day trial period to try and service and if they do not like it can cancel with no charges and all monies are refunded!

Returning the Equipment

AUTHOR: ClearWire Info - (U.S.A.)

Bcw1984,

You would need to call and talk to Account Services. Do not go through Tech Support. You would need to call during the week during regular business hours to cancel. Only then would you get your money back. The equipment would need to be returned but after that you should get your initial investment back to you.
