purchased clearwire 12-26-05. of course it was a years contract of wireless internet. Paid $104.98 december
The bill till 3-06 was $24.98
The bill from 4-06 to 9-06 is $54.98
all payments $54.98 from 4-06 to 9-06 was paid by visa. They claim we owe them more payments of $54.98. Even though we have proof of a bank statement and from clearwire's internet site it was paid.
We Made payments by visa. I noticed something strange last month(august 15th 2006). I paid for my service. Then the next day they tried charging AGAIN (august 16th 2006). They Created fees and everything. Almost canceled my life insurane policy..I Did not get refunded for that.
Next month which is september 5th 2006 They charge me not once but twice again! Create MORE FEES. And made my credit card payment bounce right out the door to a different card. Which goes on my credit as a bad payment.
So we try contacting local branch of clearwire here in anchorage,alaska. Nobody will answer. We literally had to call technical support to say we have a technical problem with billing. He laughs and very nicely helps us. he states they have a invalid 2nd payment on hold with visa and wont release it. We said we are aware of it. He state he will email the main CEO. And contact us later in the day. next day no phone call . we call and he says the same. His name was mike.He says the same thing I will call you later today. Next day no call.
So we contact 1-888-clearwire since anchorage wont help. they state it was anchorage's fault at clearwire and nothing they can do. I have to contact them. But anchorage office wont answer our calls or the messages we left for them to call.
So today september 11-2006 and remember i ALREADY PAID $54.98 by visa.They mail me a letter for NONPAYMENT and is going to fine me $300.00 for the modem fee and $180.00 for the early termination fee if i dont pay them within 5 days...LMAO
So we call the out of state which is whom mailed this letter to us. They say its for a valid payment to basically screww off . The supervisor says we just merged with AOL. Im thinking that explains it all.
And we have to make this bogus payment or they gonna fine us this $480.00 and put it on our credit report.
The supervisor was MEAN and didnt care if we had proof they took the payment out of our account!
DONT GO TO CLEARWIRE!!!!! I called my bank Credit Union 1. They state EVERY credit union 1 member that has Clearwire. has been having the same problem for a few months!!!
