Overcharging by Clements Electric in Austin, Tx

I requested the replacement of an exhaust fan under American Home Shield and was billed $55 service charge. While the electrician was in my home, I asked if I could pay the balance beyond the $55 up to their ususal hourly rate of 97.50 to replace my smoke detector, not covered by the policy. They then charged me $55 PLUS 97.50 for the job.

It turns out, I would have saved $25 dollars by not using the insurance policy at all, but calling an electrician to do both jobs and paying it all myself. After getting $25 above the actual cost out of me, they will be getting $35 from AHS...
