I am a litigation paralegal, and must serve individuals with lawsuits. In an effort to locate difficult defendants, I must perform people searches. I came across a service that Clickbank offered, i.e. Court Registry.org. (My previous searches have cost a minimum of $80.00, and that's only for a "bare bones" search.) Their website claimed that a VERY thorough search could be performed for $39.95. That is their "premium" and "unlimited" search.
After completing their minimum registration and accepting my debit card (which was my first mistake, I should have placed this on my AMEX credit card), only then was I notified that to perform a search of any civil, criminal, etc., records, would cost an additional $15.00 EACH. This is very misleading and downright criminal. You are not aware of this until after the charge has been placed. I have called my bank and we will be placing a dispute on this charge.
Additionally, I live in Florida and feel it is my obligation to notify our Attorney General's office in Tallahassee. If any attorney reading this is interested in discussing or initiating a class-action lawsuit, please contact me. Thank you.

I believe you may have misunderstood the package purchased.
I would like to inform you that CIS Worldwide does not store, collect or have access to any of your billing information. In fact, the $40 purchase was instantly credited to your CIS Worldwide balance. When using our premium searches, the cost of each search will be deducted from your CIS Worldwide account balance.
Please also note that our billing structure is clearly disclosed in our Terms and Agreements. All customers must agree to these Terms and Agreements before proceeding to check out.
The unlimited basic search section is added as a bonus to our premium package customers.
The "Unlimited" search option allows for basic people search, basic background, landline phone searches, and basic search by address as part of our membership.
Unlimited reports may include: Address history, age, date of birth, marital status, phone number(s), possible relatives and associates, and property records.
Your CIS Worldwide balance gets debited for each Direct Search conducted.
