This company made a number of inquiries into my credit from March 2008 through June 2008. They established a trade line claiming they extended a line of credit for $1,100 in June 2008 and I defauled in August 2008. They also claim they were acting as a third party broker on behalf of Bank of America.

I called Bank of America and not only are they unable to find any such loan or credit card under my name, social, or address, but they have stated they have NO AFFILIATION with this company.

I take this information and write to the credit reporting agencies in conjunction with the company and the Attorney General of Missouri.

The credit reporting agencies are falsely stating the trade line is accurate and refuse to take Bank of America's word for it that this alleged account they are reporting as a charge off simply does not exist.

The mail came back return to sender from Client Services.

The attorney general of Missouri forwarded a copy of a response claiming that my dispute is not with them, but with Bank of America. They admit they have not extended any lines of credit on behalf of Bank of America.

The attorney General is looking for people victimized by this company. Write your compaints to the Missouri Attorney General.

UPDATE - My Detective Work Paid Off

AUTHOR: Jen - (U.S.A.)

Since Client Services claimed damaging my CRA was a clerical error on their part and suddenly NCO picking this up within 10 days the letter of response was issued by Client Services to the Missouri Attorney General, I started thinking.

Now this is always a dangerous thing when I think, because I wanted to see if any dots connected from Client Services to NCO.

Both company websites were similar, but you could always have an "industry recommended" web designer develop separate sites for the same companies. Client Services did not provide any listing for physical mailing addresses, but NCO totes in their qualifications, they have offices world wide.

NCO advertised offices in Missouri, but I could not get an address of their Missouri office to compare it with the address on the Attorney General response from Client Services.

I looked at job listings for NCO Financial in Missouri, and LO AND BEHOLD they are looking for collectors for NCO at the same address as Client Services.

This is proof the company evaded investigation in Missouri by crossing state lines.

Consumer Abuse in it's finest.

Debt Validate these chumps

AUTHOR: Fdcpaviolationswinner - (U.S.A.)

Within the past year, I had a credit card in their office. It had the "File # *******" but not the original credit card #. The credit card debt wasn't even that old.LOL. It's very obvious this place has very sloppy record keeping. I simply sent a debt validation request within the 30 day window from the time they initially dunned me certified mail return receipt requested. Haven't heard a thing since from the credit card company or any new collection agency in the last 6 months since I did this. Always debt validate, even if you know you owe. Worst case scenario, it buys you a lot of time as they can't collect until successful validation. Best case scenario, the agency can't reproduce the original account # since all they got was a spreadsheet for x amount of dollars since the original creditor sold the debt.

Client Services in Bed with NCO Financial Services

AUTHOR: Jen - (U.S.A.)

The Attorney General in Missouri started investigating Client Services for fraudulently reporting the trade line. In my letter to the Attorney General (which was forwarded to Client Services) I had a private telephone number.

Client Services responded by claiming "clerical error" and alleging they were sending the account back to Bank of America. The Attorney General dropped the case as resolved. The trade line came off my CRA.

Within 15 days receipt of Client Services response to the AG in Missouri, the trade line re-appeared under NCO and the calls on the private line (from that dispute letter) started coming in 7-8 times a day.

go to www.budhibbs.com

AUTHOR: Laurie - (U.S.A.)

and report them there as well

Watch the Dateline Videos- Dateline is exposing the dirty bottomfeeder collection agencies and their illegal practices.

They are listed on the bud Hibbs website as an agency to avoid

What Bud Hibbs has to say

Client Services is a Jekyll and Hyde type agency. On some days, you're facing the professional collector who seems to be abiding by the law; on others, the hounds of hell have been loosed and no amount of talking or common sense will appease them. If you get the bad one today, hang up, and maybe the good one will be the one that calls tomorrow.
