I live right around the corner from this place (new and old store).  I have walked in on a few occasions and was passed a joint.  The owner is a nice guy dont get that wrong.  But the owner is also very prominate to push expensive un needed products on the consumer.  Don't get me wrong the best products are the best, but most products like say clone machines you can do with whatever.  For the example, I have used an expensive 8 site clone machine that was priced at $120.00 but i now use a 20 site clone machine i picked up for $50.00 brand new.  I do not see any difference between the two machines except price and sites.  Although, Buddy the store owner will insist that the more expensive one is the right one.  When I go into a store I like to have options, not someone pushing a product on me to make a buck.  I do understand sales, sell more make more.  Although, if i say i cant afford what you are offering me offer me something else.  Also, the store employees are trained to meet you at the door with a "Can I help you".  Which is great, but i like to shop around look at what is out there and then ask questions.  But these guys will follow you (almost hold your hand) through the whole store until check out.  I understand theivery maybe part of this problem, but if thats the case get a bar code scanner at the door like a metal dector.  A lot of stores have them.  But i feel unwelcomed at this store with the employees flocking and following me around.  So to be fair i shop here for convience, like i said i just live around the corner.  So if i need something small like one bag of dirt or a pair of scissors.  I will go here to get it.  But for the monthly maintance things i need for my garden i will go else where.  O and one last thing if you have a pretty girlfriend dont bring her in, unless you dont mind her getting hit on, goggled over or if you just plain want her to feel uncomfortable then this is the store for you.  Again, i live right around the corner and i know of one time that she was walking past the store going home.  As she passed the store some employees of clio cultivation started hitting on her.  This doesnt bother me that guys hit on my girl friend, but i do find this behavior to be very unprofessional. 

Believe everything you have read. I have personally witnessed the smoking of marijuana by the young men who own this store. I could not believe it. When I had questions about problems with some of my rhododendruns the worker had no idea that I was talking about a flower. They don't know even the basics of gardening, and appear to be only a "medical" marijuana growing store. Even then, I wouldn't trust their advice, as they did not even know what the macro and micro nutrients are (beginner gardening). Stay away from this store because of the illegal and shady activity engaged in by the owner and the workers. 

You got to be kidding or lying. Probably a competitor as their are ALOT of inddor gardening stores in the flint area and i.ve been to them all. Its getting a little crowded in this business. Anyways like i said i been to them all and no one and i mean no one can touch the prices on air cooled hoods and digital ballasts. I mean come on!!! Luumi 6 inch hoods from hydrofarm for 85$???? And the guy that owns the business is super polite and respectful. This is where i go to get my supplies and thats that. These other stores cant compete fairly so they post crap like the above. Whoever wrote that review was motivated by something else. The sad thing here is that this ripoffreport is trying to do serious things, but the author of that review is obviously trying to slander my friends at Clio Cultivation.

I have been a satisfied customer there for 2 years now, and I can't even understand how someone could shop there, experience the customer service I have and still do, and even think of writing anything negative about CC. Their prices and selection are second to no one in the area. When I moved up here from Detroit (where there are 1000s of grow stores) I went to a new one every time I needed to go searching for the best selection, deals and STOCK. I HATE GOING TO A GROW STORE FOR A SPECIFIC ITEM AND THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK. This has only happened at CC 1 time in two years, and it was just 16" drain trays (a commonly bought item).

I found most of the other stores in Flint, Clio, Mt. Morris and Burton to all be unreliable when it came to keeping things in stock. Most grow stores have friendly people that work there. At CC, these guys have, over the months, become my friends. Not because I talk to them and ask a lot of questions, I don't, I'm a pro. They reached out to me after seeing me coming back time and time again.

I will be going back there to get all my growing supplies. This site, out of respect, should take down that bogus negative review. As for your all caps suggestion, HOW CAN I YELL? lol. have a nice day.

The Brand

The owner of the store is the nicest guy. He has the lowest prices around and won't be beaten. He helped me out allot I just spent well over three grand there. And I will continue to go back. Your a idiot whoever you are. You prry suck at growing d****e bag.

Buddy, the owner is one of the most accommodating business owners I have dealt with. This complaint has no merit and smells a lot like sabotage by a competitor to me. Anyone considering Clio Cultivations should ignore this nonsense and form their own opinion.

I have been to Clio Cultivation several times and have been treated with respect that I have come to expect from merchants in my general area when shopping. The person writing this article appears to be a competitor rather than a customer and the owner's name is not Dennis. The staff is very friendly and their knowledge is second to none when it comes to growing techniques and equipment that is needed to get great results. I have been in there with my 3 year old granddaughter and have never had anything but good service and a friendly staff.
