SEO Reputation Management at its best!

Cloakhosting.com offers "The Next Generation of SEO Hosting", though their support is aweful.  They may respond, they might not.  They absolutely will not answer phone calls or return messages.

We signed up for a 50 package with them, which also included a "free trial period".  The free trail was spent with them trying to figure out a problem with their service.  Then, after not hearing from their tech support for over a week on the issue, we got charged. 

This is a message from Cloakhosting:  Ben is the Founder.

I'm sorry that this has taken so long and you've experienced issues with ManageWP. As Ben had previously stated, I exhausted my troubleshooting abilities working on this and needed to escalate this to our developers. Unfortunately we do have a small backlog of things the developers are working on. I have marked your task as urgent in their queue. As Ben stated, we will be compensating you for the first month's hosting charges due to the inability to use the system. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and your team.

A week after this is posted, we've still had no updates on the status of the service, but we did get a charge for $150.  After countless times of trying to call, send tickets, send contact us forms; we receive this:
I apologize for the delayed response. I am not in the offices on Wednesdays and your reply on Tuesday was received after I had left. The ticket with your development work was assigned to my queue, as such, no other agent saw it. This ticket, was stuck in our spam folder.You were billed yesterday as that is the norm after ending a trial. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do to stop the system from billing you automatically, and the adjustment has to be done manually within our billing system. I do apologize for the extended delay on our development team looking into the issues with ManageWP, this is not normal nor what we stride for.I am happy to apply a $150 credit to your account, which would be applied to your next invoice. If you indeed would like to cancel the account and apply for a refund on your card, I can get you to a supervisor who will review the case.

Notice the date is 4/10, and this is 2 days after we've been charged $150 for a service we can't use, and for something we were told wouldn't be charged.
Do yourself a favor and run from this company as quickly as you can.  I'll be disputing the charges and doing it the hard way, since their technical / sales support is nonexistant. 
Terrible customer support, terrible response time, fake phone number that is never answered or responded to.  Maybe some bad press will motivate them to cancel the account and refund the money that should have never been charged.

This is nothing new. I had the similiar ordeal dealing with Ben Roy and his company. My sites would be offline for weeks before I knew they were down. I had to monitor my sites so much that I had to shut down my hosting. I email support and never got a satisfactory answer. The would blame me as though I did something wrong. 

I wish I could say the lever of suport was horrible, but there was no support. My sites got hacked a few times and I was blamed for not keeping my sites up to date. I asked if they had a back up of my sites so they could restore them and they never had a current one. They never had a real answer as to why all of sudden my database woudl become coorupted. I strongly suspect that somebody in the company or a former employee has been messing around and destroying sites. 

I am so glad that I am no longer dealing with this company. If and when my sites would load, they would extremely slow. I thought I had dial up the way these sites performed. I urge everyone to stay far far away from Ben Roy and his hosting company. If I thought I could have my site stay live, I will have him host a domain reporting all of the issues and email I have gotten from them blaming me or wordpress for my sites not loading.
