should have known it was too good to be true. We where looking at the HDR-SR11 camcorder. Most places where selling for ~ $1150. When I looked further on web I found these guys selling the 'same' thing for $599. It sounded good. To good to be true infact.

I placed the order on Sunday and Monday morning got the email, Please call to confirm you raddress. I did so. After being on hold for 15 minutes, the rep aka manager? finally picked up and confirmed the address, and stated the camera should be shipped out in about 6-10 days.

Than.... came the speil, well you need this and you need that, an extended life battery, I first agreed to that. Than he kept on selling... the extened warranty for 3 years at $150. I said ok, give me the 3 year warranty for $150, and drop the battery. Give me the total, it was way off the origional total even with the $150 added to it. I asked for explanation, he said well the warranty is $300, when I said that is not the price you quoted, he got nasty and said I don't know what I was talking about. Than he rebutted that and said oh yes, it was $150. But the total still did not match up. When I questioned him, he said that shipping went up. I asked for what, a piece of paper that says warranty??? He said that UPS ships per package, I said interesting, everytime I go to UPS, they weigh my package. He said I do not know what I am talking about, he does this every day. Than he proceeded to insult me further, stating I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed since I was being so rude to him.

So he said he would give me the warranty for $150. I was just about to say ok, when he stated that it would not be shipped for 4-6 weeks (first stated 6-10 days--web site actually states 1-2 biz days) since it was coming from Japan. Oh and by the way, it is a GRAY ORDER. And the warranty will be for Japan. Well that one set me over the edge....

I said I want to CANCEL the order now, and I want a CXL number NOW. When I got demanding, he said I was not his boss and not to talk to him like that. I said if I was his boss, I would have canned his a** along time ago. Needless to say, the order was cancelled, I actually received 2 CXL notices. I than went and ordered from Amazon. It was sent out the same day. Should be here in less than a week.

I also called the credit card company to make sure they did not charge to my account, they did not. I have never delt with such a shady company as them, buyer beware, if it is too good to be true, it probably is.

Do not mess with me
