Closeoutgenius.com Bait and Switch Las Vegas Nevada

I found a pretty good deal on a Canon FS100 Camcorder for $179 on their website. "closeoutgenius.com" A day after I placed the order I was contacted by someone from the company by a private number over the phone saying the battery that is supplied with the camera is deffective and would not hold a charge and that I would need to order an additional battery for an additional cost.

I told him I would check out the battery myself and if their was a problem I would contact Canon to have it replaced. Then he asked me if I wanted to take out a service contract on the camera. I said no and that I would send the camera back to Canon if there was a problem. He hung up the phone. Then I received an email from the company saying the camera is now on back order. But when I checked back on their web site the site says the camera is in stock.

Now they have my credit card information and could charge my card at any time. I found this site on Google. Google and other search engines should make sure this site does not show up on their search results to prevent this from happening in the future. My recommendation is to stay away from closeoutgenius.com.
