Closing Statements, aka-Image Builders Advertising, aka-Marketing Solutions, Consumer Fraud, Purposely Deceptive and Massive Rip-off Scheme Chandler Arizona

In April 2002 I ordered a closing gift from the Company "Closing Statements". I ordered on-line, but received no acknowledgement. I next called their 800# and spoke to a representative who took my order, assuring me the gift would arrive in 7-10 days (since time was an issue).

That same day, I did indeed receive a fax from "Closing Statements" to approve the engraving work to be done. I noticed on the transmittal line of the fax, that "Closing Statements" was actually "Image Builders Advertising". I was unaware of this symbiotic relationship, as there was no reference anywhere these companies were one and the same (Marketing Solutions, too.)

A month later, I still have not received the item I ordered. I attempted to speak to a representative several times, only to be diverted to a messaging center, where no calls are returned.

I faxed a cancellation letter, apprising them I would be taking the liberty of filing an affidavit of FRAUD with my bank (in case I didn't hear from them). MY money is returned in two days (by the bank). The bank will, of course, in turn pursue the proper channels necessary to get their money back! No response.

Coincidentally, my husband and I used "Image Builders Advertising" in Dec. of 2000 to create business cards and letterhead. It took FAR longer than they advertised to receive our order, but did eventually arrive. I hear we were lucky.

Only a month ago, we tried to contact "Image Builders" to reorder more business cards (unaware of the complaints). We could never get through to speak to anyone. My husband checked on line on 'Google' to search for "Image Builders" and found the web site for RIP-OFF complaints.

From there, when I discovered "Closing Statements" was actually "Image Builders", I knew fraud was most likely involved.

I faxed a letter to "Closing Statements" informing them I know they are actually "Image Builders". Had I known that up front, I would never have placed an order, as "Image Builder's" reputation is preceeding them.

"Image Builder Advertising" is also "Marketing Solutions" and is also (though unidentified up front)"Closing Statements". They take your money and do not deliver. THAT is FRAUD.

I had to call my bank (or credit card company) to file an affidavit of fraud in which they immediately cancelled my card. The bank will send an affidavit in the mail. My money will be refunded in this manner.

It appears this company (Image Builders)is becoming an insidious problem, branching into other fraudulent companies, without the consumer knowing they are all connected.

I intend to file complaints with the BBB and Consumer Affairs and my local Congressman. Even though I will be refunded my money, I believe companies like these need to be stopped cold.
