This company portends to sell software for medical records and billing. Where do I start, the only thing they are good at is selling you things that never work, then explain that you need more software to make it work. Then they use their inside connection to "help themselves" to private billing information.

Basically he sold me a system that never worked properly, it took me firing him and the goodwill of the software manufacturer (who did not have to help) to find the "installation mistakes" and correct them, at additional cost of course. All told this guy bilked us out of over $30K. Buyer beware.

Software issue ReSeller is Not the Issue

AUTHOR: catherine - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, August 06, 2013

I have done business with Clyde Bennett and Associates since 2007 and have been very pleased with Clyde and the help provided to our Practice.  Clyde is a Reseller of a Medical Software program, and not the developer of that program.  I have used this program since 2002 and was using McKesson, the program owner as my support prior to meeting Clyde Bennett and Associates.

Our practice was having so many issues with the software, and could not get the support nor help with our issues from McKesson.  This is the reason we went in search of 3rd party or VAR support.  Clyde came recommended by several other practices that were using him as support for the Mckesson products.   He has had over 25 years of experience with this particular program, and I can say for a fact, he knows the software better than the support we were receiving from the vendor.

It took Clyde Bennett and Associates about a year to work through all of our issues, some software related, others were server and network related, but our system has never worked better.  He was also able to provide help with many of the features of the program to show us how to use them and to configure them for our practices needs.  He was able to make my job of IT support go from Computer issue centric to developing the program to better fit our clinics needs.  I was also able to begin to develop reports with meaningful data to our practice to better follow up with our patients needs.

By 2010 I myself was impressed enough with Clyde Bennett and Associates performance and service to our practice, I had recommended to 4 other local practices that they consider replacing their corperate support with Clyde and his services.  To date, all have made the switch to CB&A and would not switch their support back or to any one else for that matter, they are recommending him to clinics that they know.

By 2011, I asked Clyde If I personally could be part of his team.  At that time he had only 5 employees and 50 or so clients.  I was hired by Clyde in 2011 to help with customer support questions and configuration for the program.  Since that date to current CB&A has 11 employees and over 100 customers and growing.  I have had the opportunity to hear from personally the many pleased customers that CB&A has.  Yes occasionally we have the unhappy client with issues that perhaps are more than we can address as support, however they are few and very far between.

I believe that most of the Clients of CB&A feel the same as I did when his company took over our support.  That is very pleased to have someone that understands the program, hardware, software that is compatable and the network needs for the program to function as it was intended.  As well as take over and support many of the routine maintenance items that need to be preformed on the software quarterly, and supply additional support for storage and back up solutions for our clinic.  It was great to have someone trusted and knowledgeable to be able to take these off of our concerns list so we could focus more on patient relations and patient health care solutions.

Sincerely,

Catherine

20 years of solid service for our site

AUTHOR: Dotm - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 15, 2008

Clyde Bennett set up my medical EMR 20 years ago when Practice Partner first came out. He has done a great job servicing it over the years and has been available every time the computer updates or whatever caused a problem with our very complex multi user medical software system. He is NOT arrogant in our dealings but is a typical engineer/computer brain type that is "black and white" and if you didn;t know him well you might think he was being arrogant but he is actually quite humourous. Nothing is perfectly smooth over a 20 year relationship especially when it comes to computers and relationships but overall I have been satified and don;t feel like we were ripped off.

Is THIS the Clyde Bennett I went to high school with?

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 19, 2007

I went to John H. Reagan High School in Austin, Texas with a very sarcastic, elitist and arrogant guy named Clyde Bennett. He played trombone in the Reagan Raider Marching Band and apparently his folks had a lot of money. He really pushed his weight around.

He treated those of us who weren't rich like him like garbage which I consider a rip-off. GUESS WHO I AM CLYDE?

So what you say doesn't surprise me in the least.

John H. Reagan High School was apparently designed by the architects who design the Texas correctional facilities and the counsellers always used to tell us that most of us would end up in jail. I was arrested once but it was a bogus charge which was promptly dropped by the judge in an administrative hearing.

It was a misdemeanor anyway, not even enough to give me street cred.

I guess that 's just the way it was for people who went to Reagan.

If I have the wrong Clyde Bennett, I apologize but somehow, I think you described the guy I remember from high school ... but I don't have very happy memories.
