I purchased what I thought was a new 1999 Cadillac Caterra from Coast Cadillac in August of 1999. My salesman was Sam Botros.

I took the car into Coast Cadillac in April 2003 to get some work done and they informed me I had purchased a used car and the warranty had ended in February of 2003.
I assured the Service Advisor that the car was purchased new and that I had until August 2003 before the warranty would end.

He then advised me that the car was used in a "special event" in February of 1999 prior to my purchase and that Cadillac (Now GMC) would not honor the warranty past the date the care became "used".

I showed the advisor my paper work and he said "sorry charlie" the car was used, look at the odometer reading on your purchase contract.

The odometer reading on the purchase contract does read 380 miles but it also states NEW. (Call me stupid but 380 miles to me is a new car.)

How am I to know the car was used and the warranty up 6 months early if it is not disclosed??????

He then again apologized and gave the work to me free "this time".

The more I thought about this, the angrier I got. I decided to confront the salesman when I went to pick up the car and all he had to say "Whaaat".

This practice is fraud! I thought I was purchasing a new car and paid for a new car. Now they are telling me it was not new!

I think I deserve my money back that I paid for this car and for every one who lives in Southern California to know that Coast Cadillac and Cadillac (GMC) do not honor their warranties.

I have filed a fraud complaint with the DMV and The New Motor Vehicle Board.

Futhermore I am going to put this information on every grip website that I can find!

Do not buy a Cadillac (GMC) and most certainly do not buy one from Coast Cadillac where Sam Botros continues to work.

Shame on you Coast Cadillac, Cadillac (GMC) and Sam Botros!

Tom I will tell you why I do what I do. First, you need to read Eddie's report again.

Car buyers are tired of car sales people "Lot Sharks" Finance managers, "F&I Clowns" doing nothing but bending the consumers over for some extra profit any way possible.

Tom if you work at a car dealer you know that I am right, you just can stand the fact that this web site lets me expose it.

Tom I would like you to go to this report right below. I want you to tell me you can defend this SUCKY car dealer's actions.

I want YOU to tell me that this lady and her husband are NOT victims of car dealer deception. Read this report REAL good before you open your mouth about car dealer deception.

Car dealers nationwide will try anything to get more of the car Buyer's money. Go get your local newspaper and read the auto dealer sales Adds. The disclaimers are so d**n small that you would have to get a microscope to read the d**n things. They are just trying to hide their deception.

Go watch your local TV station tonight and watch the current Dodge Add. It seems like they are trying to make the consumer think that there is some kind of feeding frenzy.

Go to your local Dodge dealer anytime of the day or night and you might see a ghost town. They sure seem like they want all to join in on the specials that they say they are having. Trust me there is no feeding frenzy. Car makers have shot their wad with the Zero percent financing and they know it.

Now they have to find some new gimmick to lure the car buyers back to the "Shark Ponds" Like a free DVD player, or maybe a Sucker's deal on a useless extended warranty that the "F&I Clown will try to sell to the car buyer for as much as 3 times what they pay for them.

Car dealers want you to think that this weekend only there is this "ONCE in a LIFETIME special event. You have to run to your local "Shark Pond" if you want to be one of the lucky ones to get that special car deal. They are just pumping and dumping hype and hope and that's it

In the past before the www.ripoffreport.com car buyers really had no way to read about car dealer deception because most who are in the auto industry do not want the consumer to become informed as to how dirty a car dealer can be. I am sure that many dealers "Shark Ponds" would love to find a way to pull my plug.

Go to your local newspaper and try to read about car dealer's dirty tricks. You will find my fellow American that your newspaper will not print anything that reveals anything on the dirty car dealers of America.

They get most of their advertising money from the car dealers and the car makers. They are NOT willing to bite the big hands that feed them.

Now, I ask you TOM to post what products or services you think or feel the following web sites sell to car dealers nationwide.

Now post your true thoughts. I want our millions of daily readers to know the truth. By the way in the last week we have had 5,735,494 hits. These people come to this web site because they want to read about the inside dirt.

We as consumers have to ask this one question before we ever go to any "Shark Pond" The question is: What is a sale? They have them every week, some "Shark Ponds" have them everyday.

If a business can have a sale everyday or every week, one would think that a sale is nothing but a scam in discus with some loop holes that help the car dealers RIP OFF the consumer.

Maybe the word "SALE" means "Suckers Are Loose & Easy" S.A.L.E.

Next Tom we need to ask why is it that a "Shark Pond" can pull up this special type of credit report on the consumer, but the consumer can't have a copy, see a copy or buy their own copy just like what the "Shark Ponds" can get?

if you are a consumer and you would like to ask the right people as to why you CAN'T get one of these "Special Credit reports" Go to the follow people and email them or fax them and ask WHY is it that YOU can't buy this "Special type of credit report. See what kind of lame reason they give you. I say you will hear nothing but B.S.

Well, I have a way for you to ask that VERY QUESTION. If I were you reading this, I would email the following people @ Fair Isaac and ask them why is it that "SLIME BALLS can get this type of report but the consumer CAN'T?

Once you die, you can't mend any of your wrong doings! I don't want you or anybody that reads what I post to know me, I want you to know and understand what I DO and why I do it.

What do you have against dealers? You must have really been ripped off in the past. If it was up to you there wouldn't be dealers. People could buy cars like they would bread from a store... problem is then you couldn't fight about prices haha. PAY THE MSRP and don't be such an a*s about dealerships.
