Coast Dental Quoted incorrectly on three separate occasions. Office manager rude & aggressive. Dunedin, Florida

Was seen approx. 6 months ago for an emergency crown as the office accepted my insurance.  Have since been misquoted on three separate occasions.  Each & every time I have had to consult with my insurance company because my quotes didn't add up.  I work in medical insurance so I have quite a bit of knowledge in this area.  I was originally quoted $900 (for crown only, not including extras).   Went home, called insurance and was advised they don't cover that type of crown.  Called Coast Dental back & suddenly my quote was approx. $500 cheaper.  Decided to go ahead with treatment.  Immediately after crown appt. I was advised I must return for a "cleaning" in order for the crown warranty to be valid.  Again, my quote was incorrect, upselling services I didn't need or request  AND included TWO $100 toothbrushes I didn't ask for.  Luckily I noticed all the errors before signing quote & proceeding with treatment.  Was reduced to a much more reasonable copay as it should have been in the first place.  For my last apppointment I thought I'd ask for a written quote prior to appt. to make sure there were no problems.  I received the quote approx. 10 days before appt.  I called office & spoke with Jennifer who I must say was rude & extremely upset that I dare challenge her "knowledge".  Kept talking in circles & not answering my direct questions.  Since the quote was only approx. $50-$75 overwhat insurance said I should owe I let it go &  decided to go ahead with treatment.  Arrived at office & was seated in dental chair when they asked me to sign consents & quote.  Quote was ANOTHER $75 over the quote they just mailed me a week ago.  I asked to speak with office manger & was brought up front to Jennifer.  She was immediately rude & hostile, snapping at me before I could even sat down.  She began pushing my quotes all over her desk & snapping orders to other staff members to call this person, download this form, etc.  I asked her direct, simple & reasonable questions and all I received in response was an attitude & no answers.   Maybe because she liked to hear herself talk because I never got to complete a sentence before I was interrupted with her nasty attitude.  It was at that time I decided to leave without treatment.  I am kicking myself for not googling this practice before I visited the first time.  If I had I would have seen all the negative reviews from people who have the same experience as me.  Avoid this practice at all costs!  I am going to call Coast Dentals patient relations number I found on this website but don't expect to get anywhere.
