Coast To Coast Doulas, Maria Korfiatis-Barroso, Amanda Tumbaga Fake nursing degree Liars not trust worthy NOT Doulas! New York New York

I find this absurd that this report was never removed.  The person who filed this claim is a fake internet troll who I was harassed off of a "mothering" board years ago and who does not understand that this is immature, irresponsible and costing me clients.  

I am still a Doula, and JUST a Doula.  I have an Associates degree in Healthcare Administration with a concentration in Pharmacy Practice from The University of Phoenix and I am now in school obtaining my Bachelor's in Women's Health.   This is the TRUTH and I have PROOF!

I apologize to those of you who googled my name only to find this non-sense and I assure you that this is all this is, is NONESENSE!  I wish the person who wrote this would "fess up" and "confess" who they are, or at least take this down.   If you have ANY questions, you can contact me. Thank you!

I am Amanda Tumbaga and I was shocked to find my name listed on this site. I am not a doula nor have I EVER claimed to be. I have never claimed to be a nurse or anything else, I am a mother plain and simple.

My name was listed on the Cost to Coast Doulas website UNBEKNOWNST to ME! Furthermore, I have never been any type of employee. I have written two letters on behaf of Cost To Cost Doulas, signed with the owners name, not mine. I simply helped with wording and secretarial type duties for ONE case in which a client refused payment. This was a favor because my friends consider me good at writing letters and getting results. I am not an employee. I am not a doula. I am not a nurse.

I DO plan to become a nurse and/or doula in a few years, but I am not now nor am I practicing as one. I am a photographer, free lance. NOT a doula or nurse and I have only ever attended ONE childbirth other than my own, as a friend!

I do know who is responsible for this false report but unlike this person I do not believe in giving full names over the internet. Its wrong and dangerous. I have asked this person on numerous occasions to remove my name, but she denies posting it. IP addresses do not lie.

Furthermore I am no internet troll or liar. The person who posted this did so in order to HURT someone she does not like. I will admit that no one is perfect, but Maria and I certainly did not do anything to deserve having slanderous and flase reports made in an attempt to ruin our names. I have never in my life claimed to be anyone I am not. All of this came about because of INTERNET DRAMA. It all started when a group of girls were harrassing Maria and I felt bad for her, so I stood up for her which earned me the "honor" of being victomized as well. This began FOUR long years ago. We have contatced the FBI, local law enforcment, and attorneys about this case. Those involved DO have their information on file and have broken the law. Threats have been made. I have had my home address and phone number posted by these people, my husbands work address etc. I have gotten threatening phone calls at all hours, one of them traced back to a person involved in this case. I have made 2 police reports. I have been told by the people responsible for this that they "hope my baby dies" and that "I dont deserve children" because I participated in the WIC program for mothers and children, they provide baby formula which I needed when I was unable to nurse my child. These people have threatened to have the IRS audit me on the grounds that "my cousin works there and I can have you audited just to make your life hell"

These are the people who made this report folks. Not actual clients of Coast To Coast Doulas, not friends of mine or Maria's. I live clear across the country from where Coast to Coast is based, yet somehow my name has been brought into this, SIMPLY for being a friend to Maria.

Maria IS a doula. She DOES attend births. She has been working on certifcation for this and also for nursing. She is still attending school. In the USA you do not need to be certified or liscensed to be a doula or attend births.

Maria has had many many satisfied clients and to my knowledge only one who was not happy with Maria, because she did not approve of Maria's weight. If you are looking for a doula I urge you to do your homework the right way. Call prospective doulas, interview with them. Ask them for refrences. Do not take the word of one website that allows people to post whatever they want to post without ever checking its validity.

If one person had checked into this matter it would have been seen that not only am I not a part of Cost to Cost Doulas, but that Maria's website lists her as a doula, NOT a nurse. If one person had investigated this matter and contacted her clients it would have been seen that Maria has a fine record as a doula and no VALID complaints have ever been made with her with REAL places such as the BBB, Department of Consumer Affairs, or with ANY of the Doula certification organizations. Finally. I firmly believe that those responsible for this false report will get what they have coming to them someday. Maybe it will be legal action. Karma. Whatever you want to call it. But this report is wrong and illegal, and it was made with the sole purpose of harming another person.

The person who posted this information was NEVER a client of Coast to Coast Doulas. She is posting this because she is mad at me for no apparent reason. She has no reason to be posting this and has been stalking me over the internet for several years now.

Amanda is not a Doula, nor has she ever claimed to be one. She is my office manager and handles part of my schedule.

I was lied to by Belford University and fell into their trap. I am NOT a Nurse nor do I claim to be a nurse. I am a DOULA. Thank you.
