I received a phone call stating that I was chosen through (hotmail.com) to receive a vacation package worth $15,000.00 for a cost $998.00 and $49.00 per year membership fee.

when I received the the written vac. package there are other cost that was not stated also being required to stay and pay for condos and resorts that chose.

Most of the vac. were for two or three visits, travel cost are more than the stay cost.

I do not know if any of these mine vac. even exist.

Answer to Complaints about Coastal Vacations, There may be unscrupulous people in Coastal but there are many of us who are honest would be willing to help

AUTHOR: Barbara - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 31, 2004

I have been with Coastal Vacations about a year and I am doing well, thank you. I am now a director here in Florida. I stay away from recruiting simply because of the comments I read in this rip-of report. Too many people really believe they will get rich overnight running a business at home. There may be unscrupulous people in Coastal but there are many of us who are honest would be willing to help out someone who feels they have been ripped off. Coastal is a very legitimate members-only travel service. To get these vacations on your own would take a lot of effort, if you could get them at all. Joining a travel club is the only way to take advantage of special deals. The travel industry know that someone who joins a travel club is serious about traveling. If you want to work for Coastal, you had better be serious about running a business, because that is what is - no bull.

What Coastal Vacations Did For Me...Read This...

AUTHOR: Jeff Mills - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 15, 2004

Hi, my name is Jeff Mills, and I am an independent representative of the independent people who market the wonderful Coastal Vacations Retail wholesale travel membership.

Here is my story, and it is a fact.

In 12 weeks, since I began to market this program, I was able to generate over $48,000 just retailing packages to people who wanted to save up to 75% off on all their vacations for life.

I also was able to save over $6500 booking my vacations for the fall.

Here are some facts.

We are flying First Class from Minneapolis to Oahu, and if we bought the 3 tickets online at the so called discounters, like Orbitz or Hotwire we would have paid $4000 PER TICKET!

So I contacted a friend who knew a guy who does First Class Broker Tickets for discounts. He reported to me that he could get the tickets down to $3000 EACH. That would not work.

Finally, I used my connection within my coastal vacations package and was extremely friendly, helpful and Norm was able to book the trip, with a rental mini-van, for a week, with 3 first class tickets all for $4900. Saved me about so much money, I laugh when people say coastal won't save people money on airfare, when I just saved literally $1000's.

More product stories...

I booked a Condo in Florida for a week, 2 Bedroom, luxury with living room, big screen tv, king bed in master bed room with bathroom suite including hot tub, and separate bathroom and bedroom. Full Kitchen, and all the trimmings, for only $400. No Timeshare, no maintenence fees, no high pressure to buy, just a straight up deal though coastal.

I used my coastal package for the stay in Maui I will be taking in November. We will be at the Valley Isle. We booked it for one bedroom and have a $598 price, for one week. Normal rates are $1200-$1500 per week.

I used one of the cruise vouchures in the coastal vacation package and I was able to get a cruise on Royal Caribbean to Jamaica, and Grand Cayman Isle for $1000 total for 3 people. This is a 5 night, 6 day cruise, for 3 people. Normal rates are $669 per person on the discount sites. We are staying in the family suite.

One of my marketing partners was able to get a one bedroom condo in Florida, last minute for $107 for 8 days and 7 nights. What a deal.

Now, ask me, call me, contact me if you have questions about these packages, I can fax you my receipts, I would love to work with anyone looking to join coastal vacations, I am a good mentor and trainer to work with.

In His Grip, >

As to the credit card machines...

AUTHOR: Jason - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 29, 2004

I am not very active with Coastal, but as to the guy who talked about the issues with Cardservices and not geting a refund, etc...

Here's the deal:

1) Coastal is an association of entrepreneurs

2) Each "Director" determines how they want to
market the Coastal Package...in this case,
a decision was made that they could get you
the cash by signing for a lease on c.card
equipment...However, the credit card proc
essor you signed up with is indedependent
of Coastal an vice/versa. Coastal does
not endorse this vendor in any way.

3) Therefore, the responsibility for what
happened in your case lies in the hands
of the Director that recruited you and the
credit card processing co that ripped you
off which could have just as easily happened
if you were opening an Applebee's franchise
instead of a Coastal business.

4) Success in Coastal, as with any business
opportunity is never guaranteed.

It is not fair for you to bad mouth Coastal because you failed to understand the credit card merchant agreement you opened with a third party independent of Coastal.

Coastal Vacations has been the answer to my dreams! I am quite successful... David is lying

AUTHOR: Maryann - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 28, 2004

I am responding to David in Los Angeles who says that Coastal Vacations made him invest in Cardservices for credit cards. This is absolutely NOT TRUE!!!

1st you have to understand, David, that EACH Coastal Vacations Director is an independent business owner. He/She has the option to run their business any way they choose. If your director ripped you off, you need to file a claim against him/her either by a dispute with your credit card or contacting the attorney general in their state.

David, if you listened to any of the Company training calls, (2 hrs x 4 days/week), you would know that having a merchant account is NOT a requirement. You also would have been able to ask questions directly to the Board of Directors and they would have advised you properly.

2nd, David, when you recruit another person into the Coastal business, the money goes directly to you, so how did your director manage that one? Weren't you paying attention? Your first 2 sales are training sales and, yes, they go directly to your director. After that, all money goes to you and you can now order the pkgs wholesale, with the profit going right into your pocket. No middleman!!!

I have been quite successful in Coastal Vacations, as are many of my associates. We have no complaints against us as we are responsible, honest, ethical business people.

I am sorry for your terrible situation. Go after the person that ripped you off, not Coastal Vacations. They are a very honest Company and have helped many people change their financial life in a very postivie way!!!

#3 REBUTTAL Individual responds

This is a rip off company

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 22, 2004

I joined Coastal about 2 years ago.

They told me that I would get free vacations and if I signed people up for the business, I would get $1,000 for each person I signed up.

I signed up a person but coastal said, in order to get paid, I had to sign up for a credit card machine with Cardservices. So I signed up with Card Services. But Coastal said they would not pay me unless the person I signed up also signed up with Card Services and got a credit card machine. Under California Law you are intitled to cancel any such agreement within 24 hours. I cancelled within 5 hours but they did not accept it and put a $7,000 ding on my credit.

I would tell everyone to STAY AWAY from this company.

Clerification on Coastal Vacation Package

AUTHOR: Sheree - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 21, 2004

Coastal Vacation seems to be a legitamite business. The explanation of the package as well as the business opportunity is based on how YOUR IMMEDIATE DIRECTOR explains it to you. The two complaints that I just read are issues that my director told me about. It's simply a vacation package where you HAVE to do your homework and compare when you can save the most money or in some instances not pay hardly anything at all. If you purchase any vacation package, not just Coastal, airfare is hardly ever included. Even if you win a trip outside of a vacation pacage, you have to pay taxes, surcharges and in some instances registration fees. My director explained to me that you purchase the package at a discount. That discount fee you are paying gives you access to various trips for an additional fee. But that fee is more times then none smaller then what most people pay. Their's also discounts for restaurants etc. So you pay the $1,295 for the package, then go on a cruise. You might be able to purchase a top level balcony of that cruise for $200 while other people on that same level are paying $600 or more. Sometimes the cruises are free. So keep in mind, you must read ALL the fine print and ask your director questions.

Caoastal Vacations has been around for over 8 YEARS on the Internet!

AUTHOR: Kondor - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 30, 2004

I did not quite fully understand your complaint. But I have done extensive research on this company and you do have to pay taxes and surcharges. On some of the vacations it states that "AIRFARE" IS NOT INCLUDED. So I really don't understand what you are talking about. This information can be found on their website. I've found that most complaints come from people who have done absolutely no research theirselves before investing in different opportunities and because THEY DIDN'T DO THIS, they end up blaming the company such as Coastal, which by the way is
very legitimate, if they are unsatisfied in any way. Their Directors will also send you via email a 15 page report which describes and includes in detail just about anything you would
want to know about this opportunity and organization. So, come on people, most of you who complain, it seems to me, have nothing better to do than bash a legitimate company, use exaggerated half-truths, and know nothing about what you are talking about.
