After reading reviews of Cobbler Union in various style blogs I decided to give them a try. I ordered a pair of double monk strap shoes (Francis III). Unfortunately due to my high instep they did not fit. Customer service was great up until I returned the shoes and needed a refund. Was promised a refund within 48-72 hours. Beyond that now, customer service no longer answers the phone or return messages or emails. I've filed a dispute through my credit card company. Buyer beware!

Thank you first and foremost for your time and energy concerning this matter. Financials are no light matter, and deserve the utmost sense of urgency. On behalf of our company, I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced while waiting for your refund. We respect you and your needs.
If I understand correctly, you ordered a pair of Francis III, the chocolate brown, double monk strap, cap toe dress shoes; and, due to your high instep, the shoe was not a good fit, though there were no quality issues or service issues. According to your posts on the StyleForum feed for Cobbler union (source: https://www.styleforum.net/threads/anyone-ever-hear-of-cobbler-union.382719/page-13, username 'MLH') on August 18, 2017, you were quoted with a frame of time for your return within 48-72 hours, depending upon your financial institution. Per your post on SF the next day (August 19, 2017) (source: https://www.styleforum.net/threads/anyone-ever-hear-of-cobbler-union.382719/page-14), you were refunded, and no longer had need for concern, calling it a 'moot point'.
We again apologize for the misconception that we aren't a business oriented on valuing our customers. We stand on two pillars: excellent product and excellent service. Both are of the utmost importance to us, and we cannot thrive as a business without them.
