Purchased a 1/2 oz. Canadian gold coin. Promptly sent funds and had great difficulty reaching Michael Lloyd at Collectibles2Sell. Filed a negative feedback that we had not received the coin.

After finally speaking to Mr. Lloyd on telephone we agreed to mutually remove negative feedbacks and that he would send the coin the following day. I removed my feedback and still haven't received my coin - big wonder.

All emails and telephone messages go unanswered. This person is a smooth fraud artist. I hope the U.S. justice system deals with him.

Actual facts about the complaint

AUTHOR: Collectibles2 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 08, 2005

After waiting more than a month for payment the item was shipped to Andrew Andrist at
4420 Sir George Simpson
Lachine, Quebec H8T 1E6
Canada

The item is represented by Customs number LZ72 5935 136U S. If you log onto www.usps.com you will see that the Canadian post office attempted to deliver the item in CANADA at 3:27 pm on May 15, 2005. This can be verified at www.usps.com

Here is what happened to the package prior to the delivery attempt:
Attempted Delivery Abroad, May 15, 2005, 3:27 pm, CANADA

Out of Foreign Customs, May 15, 2005, 3:27 pm, CANADA

Enroute, May 10, 2005, 3:43 pm, CLEMENTON, NJ 08021

Acceptance, May 10, 2005, 3:27 pm, CLEMENTON, NJ 08021

All of this can be verified at www.usps.com using the customs number LZ72 5935 136U S

The package was refused because Andrew Andrist requested that we "indicate on package $0.00 value and mark "GIFT" on the tag." We refused to do this because it is illegal. Andrew Andrist wanted us to commit a crime so that he would not have to pay any tax or duty on the package. On the customs form we placed a $200.00 value and Andrew Andrist refused to accept the package. We will not violate US Postal Rules so that Andrew Andrist could save a few dollars. This is not the first time we have been asked to put a zero value on a customs form -- we have refused each time.

Lastly, Andrew Andrist purchased this item from us through eBay. On each and every auction page we state that we do not ship outside the United States but Andrew Andrist still placed a bid -- took forever to pay and in the end, he refused the package.
