RJM Acquisitions Fraudulent Collections Claim Letter Syosset New York

I'm not quite sure what to think of this. A letter from these people claimed that I owe Wachovia Bank $51.06. I never had an account there. I called and they said it's actually a debt purchased from another bank from 8 years ago. I did, in fact, once have an account at one of the banks on the list they named. To my knowledge, however, I never closed an account with a negative balance. Now, 8 years later, I hear that I have.

The person I spoke to recited my current and previous address and the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told him that if he gave me his name I'd look him up on the web and tell him HIS addresses and social security number. He laughed and said he's dismissing the claim. Make up your own mind!
