Allied Data Corporation ripoff,threat and defamation of character Houston Texas

on May 8th, i got a call from the a Ms. Seacliff claiming to work for the above company. she said that she had my info and was contacted by avon to collect an outstanding debt. i got the necessary info and gave her a check over the phone to pay the first bill.

On the 15th, my husband gets a call from the same lady saying that i should get an attorney and call her by eight the next morning. i called her after i got the msg from my husband and she told me that she may have not told me that they had a new system and it was acting up and as such could not process my checks and others and told me to send the money through western union. I informed my husband of the outcome to which he objected saying that it costs money to send the bill and that the company should either take the money directly form the account or send an envelope.

He called the company and argued withe the rep on ext 3492 and the lady proceeded to say that our check was considered HOT and as such could not be cashed. she also said that we were known for writing bad checks.

At first, i didnot understand what my husband was trying to say and so i called the lady back but before then, the lady called to tell me that my husband had called and was rude to her. i offered my apologies and called my husband who told me that they had accused of writing bad checks.

well, to cut a long story short, i went to the bank this morning and after some investigation said that there was nothing wrong with our account and as a matter of fact, we had a very high standing score. Joan, the financial advisor i met advised me to check out the company and be ware of ripoffs. thisis how i got here.

i have called the company this morning and the same lady is telling me that they cannot accept my check for some reasons best known to them. when i made her know that i had contacted the basnk and this was the situation. she told me to hold and give her time to look into the case.

as i am typing, i am on hold with the lady, Ms. Seacliff or Seagrave, tel # 18002757176 ext 3492 who is claiming that they cannot still process my account because there is something wromg with it. she was very rude and obnoxious. i told her to go ahead and press charges and i would see her in court.
