Remington College False Advertising, Worthless College Degree, Fraud, Remington is not Regionally Accredited ripoff Little Rock Arkansas

I went to enroll at Education America/Southeastern College of Technology on June 6, 2002. Now, the school is called REMINGTON. My recruiter ASSURED me that the credits I would obtain for my Associate's Degree would transfer to any University! I was told they would even help me obtain employment when I graduated, which is what their TV ad promised too.

I graduated on July 8, 2004 with an Associate of Science Degree in Business Info. Systems. I completed 1st-7th Quarters in Little Rock, AR & the 8th Quarter in Baton Rouge, LA.
NO UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE will accept my credits from Remington College!

I had impeccable grades, nearly a 3.9 GPA, yet every University I talk with says Remington is not accredited regionally & that Remington is not even listed or recognized in any accredited schools list!

I am a single mom & I simply can't accept that I wasted 2 long years and thousands of dollars at Remington for nothing. I am being told I must start ALL OVER & more than 5 universities have said my degree is almost worthless.

I also was turned away when I asked for help in finding employment. Suddenly, that promise was erased! They were rude and offered no help once I graduated. I have found NO good job in Accounting as they said I would. Every employer expects a Bachelor's Degree, not an Associate's, which would be okay if I could use my Remington Associate's Degree to enter a University and obtain a Bachelor's. this is what Remingto SAID I'd be able to do, because "everyone would accept the degree Remington offered."

A COMPLETE LIE. The University of Sioux Falls, The University of South Dakota at Vermillion, The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, & 4 others I have tried enrolling at WILL NOT EVEN CONSIDER RECOGNIZING MY ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE FROM REMINGTON!

Not only have they never heard of it, when they pull out their Booklet on Accredited Colleges, Remington does NOT appear ANYWHERE.

This school has ripped me off for over $10,000 and 2 years of my life I cannot get back. not to mention all the babysitting fees I had to pay just to attend class & keep a full time job. All that hard work I did FOR NOTHING.

I must start from SCRATCH now. owing thousands for a worthless degree.
4 long years when I thought I had gotten 2 years out of the way!
Apparently, anyone can open a "College" and have our DUMB STUPID government hand out money to any Tom, d**k, or Harry who "says" they are handing out worthwhile & valid Degrees!

Since when is False Advertising legal? How about Fraud? I never thought that recruiter would lie to my face.

DO NOT ATTEND REMINGTON COLLEGE, FOLKS! NEVER EVER EVER!
THEY ARE LOCATED IN MANY STATES IN AMERICA. B E W A R E!

I will be paying for this worthless degree for decades & I lost valuable time with my daughter 3 nights a week, 5 hours at a time, just so they could RIP me off, a single mom who was simply trying to further my education to support my daughter without any child support.

The government is 50% responsible for Remington to get away with this.
We all need to unite and STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN TO ANYONE!
