It was about 2:00pm and I was getting out of Wells Fargo and before I get in my car this guy in a new Cadillac calls me, so I go and he asks me if I talk Spanish. I do so we started to talk. He said that he is a clothes designer and that he makes a lot of money. That he lives in Itally and that he came to here (el centro) to make a presentation of new clothes for some recognized brands and he mentions some. He gives me his business card and then he goes and park his car.
He then gets out and starts telling me that after the presentation at Dillards he has a lot of clothes left and that he doesn't want to take it back to Italy because they won't let him take it back at the airport. He then shows me some invoices of the clothes he has and it looks genuine. It says Dillards and bla bla bla. He says he has 15 pieces of clothing left and that each one cost about 800 dollars and shows them to me and tells me to feel them. He says he will give me all of that if I only buy one. I said I can't because I barely opened my bank account and opened it with $100.  He shows me a fake I.D. from Italy and on his walled a lot of $50 dollar bills and a lot of Euros. He says he's my friend and just wants to help someone. That he's not a rip off. After some minutes of saying I can't buy it he asks me how much was the most I could give and i wanted him to get away so I said $150.
He really insists if I can go inside the bank and ask them to see how much I can take out. I agree having in my mind to tell him that they told me I couldn't take anything out because I had barely opened it. He then walks with me inside the bank and when I see he is going to walk with me all the way to the bank's employee to take money out I stop and say that I thought about it and I don't want to buy anything.
He then keeps insisting and insisting that it's my life opportunity that he will agree $150 for the 15 pieces of clothe. I said I don't wear that type of clothes then he says i can sell them that he is in a hurry to leave because the airplain in SD is going to leave.
I say that I can't and sorry one last time then he tries to show me his underwear? saying there worth $150 and that i'm being stupid not getting the clothes. Then I get annoyed, so I say NO and I pretend I'm calling someone so he just leaves.
I get home... googled the Business card  he gave me (thinking maybe I had let go a very good deal) and find out that it is a scam and many people have fallen for this! Worlwide!!!
It was intense!
