MY CAR BMW 2011 M3 WAS  PLACED AT ELLETE COLLISION CENTER ABOUT JUNE 8,2016 WHERE WAS EVALATED AND WEMY SON WAS GIVEN ESTIMATE FOR$8122 FOR BODY AND MECHANICAL REPAIR.

THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO COLLISION CLINIC FOR REPAIR . MY SON WHO PLACED THE CAR WAS NOT GIVEN A BODY SHOP ESTIMAT OF REPAIR BUT THE OWNER OF THE BODY SHOP PROMISED TO DO THE REPAIR AS PER AN ESTIMATE OBTAINED AT FIRST SHOP. JOHN ELIAS THE OWNER OF COLLISION CLINIC PROMISSED TO DO MORE FOR LESS THAN $8122.70 THE ESTIMATE BY THE FIRST AUTOSHOP BECAUSE MY SON KNOW HIS SON.

THE CAR WAS PLACED AT COLLISION CLINIC ABOUT MID JUNE 2016. HE ASAKED FOR PAYMENT OF $8122.70 DECEMBER 6,2016 BUT HE SAID THE CAR NEED FURTHER WORK AND HE MADE US PAY $1882 ABOUT DECEMBER 23,2016. MY SON PICKED THE CAR WHICH WAS OBVIOSLY AND GROSSLY NOT DONE. HE REFUSED TO GIVE DETAILED REPORT OF REPAIR AT TIME OF PAYMENT. UNDER MY PRESSURE HE GAVE IT ON JANUARY 3RD 2017.

I PAID INDEPENDENT SPECIALIST ,TEXAS FIRST AUTO INSPECTORS FOR REPORT WHO CONCLUDED AFTER CAREFUL AND DETALED CHECKUP:

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED AND STILL NEEDS A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WORK TO RETURN TO NEAR FACTORY CONDITION. BASICALLY NOTHING WAS REPAIRED CORRECTLY

MY CAR NOW AT E&J BODY SHOP FOR REAL REPAIR. THEN IT WILL BE TAKEN TO MECHANIC FOR COMPLETION OF WORK

WHAT JOHN ELLIAS AND HIS SON JOHNATHAN DID AT COLLISION CLINIC FOR MY CAR IS GROSS OUTRAGEOUS SCAM. CLAIMING UNDONE REPAIRS AND CHARGING FOR PARTS WERE NOT PLACED IN MY CAR SPECIFICALLY ABS SYSTEM ,FRONT LIGHTS,ROTORS.THEY WORK WITH NO CONTRACTS AND THEY WORK WITH NO WRITTEN AUTHERIZATION.THEY DO NOT TELL WHAT THEY REPAIR.THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS SO AS NOT TO BE CHALLANGED.

AFTER THE CAR PLACED AT THIER SHOP JOHNATHAN (SON OF OWNER JOHN ELLIAS) ASKED ME TO PUT AIR CLEANER BOX FOR $500.00. THE AIR CLEANER BOX WAS IN THE CAR WHEN THE CAR WAS PLACED AT COLLIION CLINIC  WHICH MEAN THE BOX WAS REMOVED BY EVIL ACT AT COLLISION FROM THE CAR TO BE PLACED AGAIN FOR CHARGE!!! EXTREMELY EVIL.IT TOOK THEM SEVEN MONTHS TO REPAIR WHAT IT WILL TAKE FEW DAYS AT THE E&J FOR REPAIR WHICH COSTED ME ALOT IN USE AND PAYING INSURANCE AND LOANS FOR UNUSED CAR

Initial Estimate Missed Thousands of Repairs

AUTHOR: Collision Clinic - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, July 07, 2017

The 2011 M3 came to the shop as a self-pay after being assessed by another nearby body shop. Vehicle came in undriveable with multiple lights on the dash and safety features deployed. The estimate given from another body shop included physically impossible repairs (such as rebuilding a sealed M3 active headrest), the vehicle had severe damage, and had an extremely unsafe amplifier install. The vehicle also had already had a partial teardown done and was missing many parts that were likely not missing before their teardown. Such as the entire airbox assembly. The location of the airbox assembly is unknown to us as it was towed in without an airbox, and the owner was made aware of the missing airbox assembly. This vehicle had previously had extensive engine work done including a supercharger and multiple engine replacements and even then showed signs of neglect. At this point the owner was made aware that the initial estimate was far from complete but that we would do everything on it and try to get the most done that we could within his goals for the car.  The vehicle's physical damage was isolated to the front of the car and required a new bumper, carbon fiber hood, and radiator it was clear the vehicle had gone over something and damaged itself from under. In addition, it had many electrical and suspension related issues, and a failed ABS pump related to the accident. The initial estimate from Elite also missed the fact the car needed a frame alignment as the front right wheel was not sitting centered and it was not due to bent control arms or tie rods. The owner was made aware of the level of damage and insisted it be done at the bare minimum to make the car driveable as he just wanted to get rid of the car when it was finished. The owner was also given a detailed work order with everything done, and was told he could pay after he had driven the car. The owner refused this and wanted to pay right away, and to come after business hours to pick up the vehicle and pay. Owner continually called demanding that we allow him to pick up his vehicle after hours and to open the shop for him to take his vehicle. At the time of pickup the person picking up the vehicle was made aware the vehicle needed more repairs, and was also given cheaper alternatives to getting an airbox assembly. We even offered to show them how to install the airbox if they wanted to find one themselves as we would have to charge a labor rate and order the part from a dealership to get it in time as no used ones were available. That is where the $500 quote came from for the airbox we agreed that that it would be more cost effective for them to purchase the airbox second hand when one was available and install it themselves. In addition to this they were made aware that there was an intermittent check engine light likely due to an internal engine fault unrelated to the accdient. The person picking up the car was told to look around the car before paying and to make sure it was satisfactory, and was made aware that despite the repairs the car would likely need more to be finished completely. Despite this we told them about their lifetime warranty on labor and paint and their manufacturer warranty on parts and that if the car had any problems with anything we had done they could bring it back and we would make it right without hesitation. The owner never brought the car back, but instead elected to call harassing our business about repair authorization. He was even told at pickup that they didn't have to pay right away, and that it would be best if they came during business hours to finish paying. Despite this they wanted to pay right away and take the car. They paid the remaining balance with a credit card and were given a receipt. We have receipts and proof for everything we replaced and repaired as per their competitors estimate (not including the things that were physically impossible) and a detailed work order with the excess repairs done with receipts for those parts as well. The car had hours of free labor poured into it, and even more free hours repairing the issues the car previously had. The claim that we didn't have authorization to do the work we did is ridiculous as we have signed work orders and the owner was constantly updated on the car over the phone. We even asked him to send someone to see the state of the car as repairs were being done and he never sent anyone. Collision Clinic had all the authorization to do the repairs, and have been in business for 35+ years with tens of thousands happy customers.
