Breeder does NOT produce or provide what is required, requested and needed to complete the sale and delivery of certified registered Rottweiler pups. NON REFUNDABLE deposits of $500 reequired to secure liter pick and selection. 

I diligently researched breeders prior to communication with Doug Harrington and COLORADO ROTTWEILERS. This was NOT my first purchase of a Rottweiler or puppy. After 3 seperate phone conversations with Doug in the first 3 weeks of July 2014 I made the decision to place a $500 deposit to secure my pick and liter selection of pup on July 23,2014. 

July 23, 2014

Liter selected would be Denero x Arvena and I would be getting pick of the liter at $1800.00 + Shipping airtransport to Pennslyvania. I completed the purchase contract agreement with required information to secure my pup that was signed and emailed back to Colorado Rottweilers. I requested pedigree and photos of the selected breeding pair. The NON REFUNDABLE deposti was quickly processed on 7/24/14 on my AMEX card. 

August 1, 2014

I contacted Doug Harrington COLORADO ROTTWEILERS requesting receipt of the $500.00 deposit with an additional$17.50 processing fee. Doug said his wife Jolyen would email it to me with the requested photos and pedigree of the selected breeding pair as well as receipt. He stated he had received my contact and pick of liter was secured for DENERO x ARVENA liter.

August 15,2014

I contacted Doug Harrington COLORADO ROTTWEILERS again requesting receipts NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit as well as copy of signed sales agreement from the breeder documenting pick of liter and breeding selection. Again I requisted pedigree and photos. All that i received was a returned signed contract from the breeder.(NO Photos and NO pedigree ) . According to FB post from breeder on their page Denero x Arvena liter NOW 3.5 wks old on 8/10/14

August 25, 2014

Phone call with voicemail message left for Doug to discuss photos and puppy selection as puppies are NOW nearly 6 weeks old. NO RETURN CALL received. Email sent to COLORADO ROTTWEILERS as well requesting disposition of pups and expected delivery date for pup. 

August 26, 2014

Phone call to Doug again at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS. Discussed delivery on Male pick of liter from Denero x Arvena and was told that the pups were ALL SOLD. PER MY CONTRACT signed by breeder I had secured pick #1 of this liter and made the secured deposit $500.00. Doug quickly apologized and shifted me to the next liter and promised that "I would be receiving a much better pick/pup #1 from the liter of Denero x Ravon" . I accepted his apology and resigned the original breeder contract with changed the liter to Denero x Ravon 1st pick male. The contract was emailed to breeder. 

August 29,2014

Colorado Rottweiler FB post on breeder site Denero x Ravon 6 males and 3 females. FB had multiple messages from people stating they could NOT WAIT to get the #1 promised male pick of liter!!!! The breeder removed/blocked the comments on FB post. RED FLAGS were now being waived by me at this point.

September 12,2014

Called Doug at COLORDO ROTTWEILERS and left VM to discuss #1 pick male and requested photos and pedigree from the whelped liter. NO RETURNED PHONE CALL received. 

September 26, 2014

Called Doug at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS again to dicsuss #1 pick male and requested photos from whelped liter. NO RETURN PHONE CALL received. FB message sent to the breeder site and response returned  was they would bet photos out to me ASAP expect delivery last week October ro 1st week November 2014. 

October 10, 2014

Called Doug at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS again. UNABLE TO leave message VM full. I them proceeded to call his wife Jolyen on her cell and VM FULL UNABLE TO LEAVE MESSAGE!!!

October 17, 2014

Called DOUG & JOLYEN again on both phone number listed for COLROADO ROTTWEILERS and again VM FULL unable to leave either of them a message. I Emailed them at the breeder email coloradorottweiler@gmail.com. I requested a phone call ASAP and email with photos and pedigree for the Denero x Ravon liter. I DID NOT RECEIVE A call or response to email request.

October 24,2014

Called DOUG again requesting information selection of pup and delivery of Denero x Ravon #1 male pick. VM left again on system. NO RETURN CALL received. 

October 27, 2014

Called DOUG again NO answer again at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS. I immediately CALLED back from and alternative phone number and DOUG was quick to pick up. He said the pups were going to the vet on Wednesday October 29 and selection of pick would happen after health clearance and pups would be redy for delivery starting November 1st. He asked that I call back on the 29th to finalize the selection and delivery. 

October 29,2014

Called Doug at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS and no ability to leave VM. I called his wife Jolyen on her cell phone and left VM requesting photos and details related to selection and delivery of pup. I DID NOT RECEIVE a return call. 

October 30,2014

Called Doug again at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS and NO answer. I again called from and alternative phone number. This time the pups had NOT GONE to vet and would be going now on Friday morning October 31 so selction could be made that afternoon and shipment by UNITED AIRLINES could happen on Sunday November 2, 2014. He again asked that I call back on Friday October 31 after 1 pm to finalize selection, payment and delivery.

Called DOUG again at COLORADO ROTTWEILERS and NO answer. I left VM message again for DOUG attempting to FINALIZE details. I DID NOT RECEIVE A return call.

****I feel at this point I have been scammed out of a deposit and delivery of a pup related to lack to detailed information related to pedigree, photos and selection of pup and NO RESPONSE from COLORADO ROTTWEILERS!!!!

****I decided to begine searching on Google / Internet for Doug Harrington Rottweilers and found that he has changed his breeding/kennel name several times . Most recently known as VON Eisenhart Rottweilers!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GET SCAMMED by this Breeder and his PONZY scheme. Search the wealth of complaints associated with this man and his scheme and unethical breeding practices.

I emailed breeder detailing the vast information I received about his breeding practices and fraud scheme .I made him fully aware that I wanted a full refund in the form of a certified check. I will be notifying the Attorney General of Colorado and the Sheriff department of Jefferson County Colorado. The Better Business Bureau of Colorado will also be advised in detail of his unacceptable business practice and scheme/scam.
