I ordered 2 DVD's over the internet on 6/29. Order was processed and shipped (they say) on July 1. They charged my credit card on July 2nd. On July 20th when I had not received the order (their website said it was sent) I emailed to see what the problem was.
I got a response saying that it could take up to 4 weeks for shipment. They ship via USPS and they don't have tracking. I know for a fact that it does not take 4 weeks to ship anything via USPS and they do have tracking. I replied with this info and got the same message again, this time they added a link for a satisfaction survey (bad mistake).
I waited the 4 weeks and emailed again. I got a reply apologizing for no shipment received and that they would credit my account and reship the items. Sounds fair enough to me. So, I check my credit card statement the next day and sure enough they credited the items back to me less the shipping charge (I guess they kept that for the time they spent answering my emails). Then they charged me again the full amount (shipping charge too).
I emailed again saying that this was not acceptable and that I wanted my account closed. To which they replied that they would have to charge me for the canceled contract. I replied to go ahead and try to get me to pay.
I will keep you posted as to how this turns out.

Well, they reshipped the items (unauthorized) and closed my account. Now they are charging me with the unpurchased items. What a surprise? Well they can either stick the amount they say I owe right up their %&* or reinstate my account, I purchase what I have to and close it on my own terms.
We'll see what they do now.
