Do not join this club!! I have been a member since 1994 and recently I have run into dead ends when trying to reach a warm blooded human on the phone, via letters or via e-mail. I have gotten two items I did not order and have had charges on my credit card that I did not authorize. I have had to cancel my account to make sure that they do not charge.

From the looks of it this company may be declaring bankruptcy soon. I have worked in credit departments before and this is usually the first step in the process. They will sever all ties with members and begin charging accounts fradulantly. Your best bet if you are a member having issues is to cancel the card you used, and write a letter to them stating that as of now you are reguarding this account closed and you will no longer accept deliveries. Also include that your billing acount has been closed and that the company has been ordered to watch for attempted charges from columbia house.

Also filing a report with the better business bureau in your town and Indiana would be good. Maybe there can be a class action suit against them to go along with the other two.
