Columbia Telecommunications Group rebate ripoff Farmingdale New York

Purchased a pair of Family Radio Service (FRS) Radios (walkie-talkies) from Fry's Electornics in Southern California. These radios were priced at $25 with a $25 rebate. The radios were advertised as free after rebate.

When I looked at the Radios, I thought they might be worth $5 because they looked like toys and were missing many features that real FRS radios had. I thought free and tax on $25 + postage ($2.39) for something that's worth $5 is worth it.

Needless to say, I overpayed $27.39 for these horrid radios.

I mailed my rebate off Aug. 23, 2003 and expected my money by Nov. 29, 2003. As of Jun. 16, 2004 I have not recieved my money. I have called, faxed, and mailed them with no response throughout that time.
