I have already entered a report on this company and thought that they finally made good by sending my rebates after complaining to the attorney general and BBB. I did receive the checks that bounced! These people are a real piece of work!

Here is the original report.
Back in July at Fry's I purchased a pair of FRS/GMRS radios for $25 on a promotion that advertised a $25 rebate. I mailed the rebate in on the same day as the purchase which was within the time limit. I received no rebate or communication indicating any problems.

By early December I was curious and upon following up with the 800-390-2344 number (www.wheresmyrebate.com) I learned that wheresmyrebate.com was handling the rebates but they never received anything. I was informed that the cut-off for the claim was 6 months from the date of purchase.

Since I was still in the window for making a valid claim, I followed the operator's instructions and sent a second rebate claim to their re-submittle address at 145 Huguenot St. Suite 105, New Rochelle, NY address and checked back one month later. Again the same responce came, "we have not received your letter." OK, now it became a matter of principle.

I sent a registered letter and received the confirmation that a Bruce E. Stone had signed as received. I called back immediatley upon receiving the confirmation and the excuse came that it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get the information into the system. I waited the required time and still no joy.

However, now upon calling back I brought to the operator's attention that I had a signed card indicating that they had received the rebate claim. Then I was informed that the offer had a 5 month limit! Buyer Beware, these offers still abound in 2004, and the people that make them are either liars or grossly incompetent.
