THE MAGAZINE NOW CALLED COLUMBUS LIVING MAGAZINE, FORMERLY CALLED BUCKEYE BUSINESS GUIDE, IS A COMPLETE FRAUD. THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN ANY COPIES SENT THROUGH THE MAIL TO HOMEOWNERS. SHE SEEMS REAL NICE AND PROFESSIONAL BUT SHE IS A STRAIGHT OUT THIEF WHO WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. DO NOT FALL FOR HER SCAMS I.E. SHOWS, CONTESTS, ETC. IF SHE CALLS YOU CONTACT DETECTIVE BRIAN KELLY WITH THE COLUMBUS POLICE AT 614-645-2062. SHE HAS NO OFFICE, ONLY A P.O. BOX, AND IS ONLY INTERESTED IN HOW MUCH MONEY SHE CAN GET FROM YOU.

Karen Tucker is doing the same scam in Las Vegas

She is ripping people off in Las Vegas calling her fake show Modern Vegas Bride. She is using fake names: Nikki Nguyen and Hope Michaels. She duping locals to sell for her false magazine and bridal show. I talked to the detective, and he says she is good at lying and takes as much money as she can con a town out of. Beware!

Baltimore's Bride, Baltimore Alive, Harford County Saver, Lighthouse Media Group

Yes, she got me, too! She is using the name Ann Nichols. I am a freelance Graphic Production Artist who responded to a Craigslist Ad back in June of '08. She contacted me late November and I did 3 ads for The Harford County Saver. Which I now know, was never published. I was to bill by the 5th of the month and would be paid by the 20th. I didn't get paid, and she explained that the company was transitioning and with the holiday they were running behind. Early December, until mid January she had me working on ads for another publication, Baltimore's Bride. I also worked on a brochure promoting a Bridal Show at the Convention Center - she was selling booth space. She set me up with a "Baltimore's Bride" email account and I dealt directly with the advertisers, creating ads, getting approval and forwarding the completed ads to her. editor@baltimorealive.net. What bothers me the most is that I signed my name to these emails to her advertisers. I hope everyone understands that I am also a victim of her scam. What I now know that might help the other victims. Early advertisers paid by check, but towards the end she had them paying via PayPal. Her address, is a Postman Plus where she is a P.O. Box holder. Her phone number is no longer in service. I am willing to speak to anyone and give any information that I can to help them. I would like to think that the people who paid via PayPal would have some recourse if they are within the 30 day limit. FYI: I did 16 ads for Baltimore's Bride! I can be contacted at (((ROR redacted)))

I worked for K Tucker when it was Buckeye Business Guide. I worked from 10/07-2/09 as her appointment setter. She still owes me almost $400 and has never paid me. We moved from our first office because she said it was too small, now after talking to other people in the building I know it was because she didnt pay her rent there. She also did the same thing to our second office!! I hope she gets what she deserves!!!

I have too fallen a victim of Karen Tucker

Karen moved into my home in Edgewood, MD in June 2008. She said she was the editor of Columbus Living and was re locating to MD for her job. They were starting a Baltimore division, Baltimore Alive. I had a signed lease from her, ss#, dob etc...Well yesterday I received an email from her after contacting her the rent for January has moved back to Ohio due to economy and financial problems and left the key under the mat. I have her home address etc...She did pay the rent from a Pay Pal account a few times. The name of the company was Lighthouse Media Group, Inc. I will contact the detective in regards to this case. I just cannot believe she would do this to me. I am 37 years and was diagnosed with breast cancer in July. I have had 6 surgeries and am receiving chemo therapy now. We need to make sure this lady gets charged for all that she has done to us.

I worked as a web developer for Karen for 2 Months (Feb - May 08) until the bill came due and she fell off the face of the earth. I do know the magazine was created at least in PDF form but cannot verify it ever made it to print. I was responsible for putting the online edition of the magazine and ads on the site, which did exist. It is my belief that other web developers have fallen victim to her as well.
I do also have an additional contact number of 614-352-0695 that Karen was known to use.
