After having Comcast voice, internet and tv service for over 4 years I decided to switch providers. I set up services with a new provider and as soon new service was set up I called Comcast to cancel service with them. Contract with them had expired long ago so there should be no problem, right?
Guess what? Comcast will disconnect service only with a 60 day advance notice! Even though I am no longer receiving any service from them I have to continue to pay monthly service gharges for two month. Never herd anything like this before.
This may not be illegal but sure is unethical. Never Comcast anything in the future. Will let everyone know so they will never use comcast either.
