I have the worse experience with Comcast.  When my daughter and I moved into our new home 2 years ago they came to set it up the first day in our home.  The cable, internet and phone worked fine (it was their "Triple Play" package) until Monday when my daughter got home from school and called me from her cell phone and said nothing was working.  So I am sitting at my desk at work and call them.  First was on hold about 10 minutes (I understand it happens) and when "Mike" got on the phone I told him what was going on.

I can only figure he was reading off a script (wait for it) becasue his line of questions were absoultly stupid.  For example some questions were:  How does she know it isn't working?  Well my answer was she is a pretty verse in knowing how to do these things and yes it isn't working.  So what happens when she turns on the TV?   Well It is giving her an error message and she cannot use the phone or the internet.  So how is she calling you then?

Well I don't know where you are from but where we are at there is somehting we use called a cell phone.  (he didn't like that) Well she can log into your home computer or laptop and do trouble shooting online.  Well ok, but I don't know what you are NOT understanding that the internet is not working nor the phone.  I will talk slower so you can keep up.  (He didn't like that either)

I told him that she needed the internet to do her homework since any more most of it is online and my eldest daughter who would come over in the evenings needed it too as she was a Junior in Nursing School.  He then proceeded to tell me that I could take them to the local public library and they could use the Wifi there.  I explained to him that I had to pay upfront one month of service and already wasn't getting what I had paid for.  I also asked him if I was one of the "Big Wigs" at Comcast would he say the same thing to them.  (No response)

SO I was then told that he could have someone out on Thursday.  NOPE not acceptable.  I wanted someone Tuesday, well they were booked.  I said imagine that if this is the type of service you provide I made a big mistake.

So for the past two years I had nothing but continued issues with the internet, cable and when MetroNet came to be neighborhood to lay cable they cut my phone line and neither company would repiar it.  BUT Comcast still wanted to charge me for it.

Over time I kept calling with issues and I would need to troubleshoot, I told them that my paycheck was NOT issued by Comcast and they needed to come fix it.  So I had some young kid come and tell me (even though I had terrible connection with both the cable and internet and would go days without service) I would need to pay a $50 service call fee up front.

I had went to a cell phone company and there was a Comcast Rep there and he came up to me to talk about "the great service that Comcast offers".  I gave him an ear full and he gave me his card to email about the issues I had been having and he would do what ever he could to help.  I emailed him and NO response.  I sent it to him two other times and no response.

I told him that he could leave a take his crap with him.  (I cleaned up what I actually said for this report)  The next day there was another Comcast tech and Supervisor who came and I told them I am not paying them and I expected a full credit for all of the days I was without service and gave them the list.  (Still waiting on that) And still waiting for Tech Support to call me back from Decemebr 2014 with a cable issues.  Worse service, support (if you can call it that) rude people and plan no one can help with issues.  Truly avoid this company.

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

Let me just start off by giving you full disclosure here.  While I do not now or have I ever worked for this or any Cable company.  But many moons ago I worked in the customer service field and there was a name for your type of customer, PITA.  If you don't know what that is, go look it up.  From just how you wrote this "RipOff", it is obvious that you are the one who started off with a major attitude.

"How do they know?" is a very legitimate question.  You might as well have just said "Well I'm not going to tell you" with the answre you gave them.  If you were so worried about getting the problem solved quickly, instead of playing 20-Questions, you could have instead said "Yes, when she turns on the TV she gets an error message and it says....".

Then you continue to show your attitude when you said things such as "let me go slower", then you stated "Well he didn't like that".  This is one of those "Duh" moments.  Of course he didn't like it.  Do you really think ANY person would?  I bet if someone said that to you, your first comment would be that you would punch them out.

As I said attitude is everything.  You will find people much more willing to help you if you show respect, which you have none.  So they were going to do the minimum required and not even think about going out of their way...they don't owe you anything.

Then we fast forward and your berating continues.  You had to "clean up" what you told them and wonder why he never responded?  Well Let ME go slower....You.....are......being....a....total....a**.

The entire ironic thing in this is that you may have actually had some valid complaints.  Such as if your cables were cut accidentally the company that did it should not be palming you off to someone else...it is their responsibility.  If they aren't fixing it they are the ones you have a legitimate complaint with.

As for your other service issues, again depending on the reason and truly how often this happens you may have a valid complaint but your report is so clouded with your attitude it is hard to have any sympathy for you or your situation.

Especially when we look at things such as your last line...really so you are STILL waiting on a call back from your call in December 2014.  Really?  Well, at this point you can wait until the end of time and I doubt you are going to get one.  This again just shows your arrogance.  After all if you still had that issue why didn't you mention it the next time you called them?  I would bet that the issue you called about is fixed or you would have continued to call.

But there is one question unanswered.  If this company has been so horrible over the last few years, why are you still with them and not with another provider?

And yes, I totally expect you to come back with some "rant" on how I don't deserve to even live on this planet, and if that is how you feel fine.  But it won't change the perception people have about your post.
