Comcast/Xfinity Thinking of going Comcast/Xfinity, think again. Internet

*Author of original report: I recieved a Very nice Phone Call on my situation from Comcast this morning.

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

After being a regular cable and internet customer for over a year with Comcast/Xfinity, it was time to upgrade to a High Definition cable box and internet speed. It was two weeks ago my wife and I ordered the upgrade, we still dont have it working right. For one we have to go get the box. The kit they gave me was the worng box. So I had to ga get another kit to fix the problem. We get the new kit home and after hours of trying to get it set up and several phone calls to the service center we did get a nice picture. But the remote only operate the volume on the Television. We have to sit in the floor to change channels or search for a show. I have been unable to verify I have a upgrade on my internet service also. They have a program you download and it doesnt work either. Made my last call to Comcast tonite. The HD box still does not work right. Before you choose Comcast/Xfinity, try someone else if you expect to watch cable. Every day I do with out a service I aam being charged for I will post a online complaint. Tired of making phone calls and driving back and forth to Service Center.

I recieved a Very nice Phone Call on my situation from Comcast this morning.

I was surprised to get a call so quickly and found a knowledgeable person on the phone who resolved my problem easily. The cable box and remote are working fine. To use the cable box features I had to push the cable button first. Now there is no help for this on the internet nor was the call center available to help. Receiving a wonderful picture now and great service. The service call has been canceled and my wife and I can now leave and enjoy our vacation.

But the person from the executive Complaint Service Center was not done there. She rolled back the bill to reflect a normal service charge, which was totally unexpected. She was able to qualify us for some promotions that had expired due to our length of service with them. Now that's what I call customer rewards.

There has been several levels of service from beginning service to now. I have encountered many people from Technicians to call center personnel. They all were polite, but only knowledgeable in thier field. I can not fault Comcast for this.

If you are having problems, and have tried everything else. I would suggest using the email I provided to resolve your problem. Thank you for allowing me to share this and I hope it is helpful to others.
