I will NEVER get a credit card or buy from a company that utilizes their services ever again. I have no problem with a creditor contacting me when I owe them money. I do however have a huge problem when they call twelve times a day and threaten me. I have told them numerous times that my circumstances have changed and I will not have the money to start paying until April 2017. Their response...... up their calls from three (I have three cards with them. Guess they are incapable of making one phone call for all three cards) to over 12 a day. As far as I'm concerned this is harassment. As for the question "How likely are you to recommend this business to a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague?".... I will do everything in my power to persuade my friend to NOT use this company.

Guess What

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, February 20, 2017

They wouldn't recommend you either.

This is what happens when you FAIL to meet the legal obligation you made. There was nothing in those credit cards that said you could just stop paying for at least 2 months. You also gave them the right to contact you in case you are delinquent. No law enforcement agency or court would even remotely consider this "harassment".

Now, what else did you give them a right to do. They have the right to report your negative history to your credit report. Meaning that you are going to end up with at least 3 60 day late payments.

But here is the good news.  They may not wait until April for you to start paying.  Depending on how many months you are late they may be getting ready to turn you over to collection agencies. Collection Agencies don't care about keeping you as a customer, they aren't going to give you any real "deals" of course they will give you a lot of "fake" ones that just helps them meet their end goal.  They want one thing MONEY, and they want it as quickly as possible. They also put a negative collection item on your credit report(and you will get 3 because of 3 accounts). See a theme developing here? This turns even a 700+ credit score into a sub-400 credit score.

So you ask what is the good news in this? Well once a collection agency has your account unlike the original creditors you can actually tell them to stop contacting you per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act(FDCPA). Well that is until they file a suit against you in court for the debt plus a few thousand in attorney fees....for EACH account.

As I said...good news.
