Payments

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

It doesn't matter when you send the payment, it matters when they receive it.  If they receive it after the cut-off time on the Due Date it is late.

Most companies suggest mailing payments 7-10 BUSINESS days before the due date.  If you are paying it on-line through your bank, you need to verify how your bank sends the payment to make sure it is sent in time.  If you are paying it through the creditors web site, you need to be sure you are not paying after their cut-off time on the due date.

If you are not making the full minimum payment by the due date you are late. Even if you are only $0.01 short.
