CommSolo Horrible Computer Company that really rips you off Mesa, Arizona
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: One upset customer in 5 years of service
Comes to your house and installs software to destroy your computers if you don't agree with the bill. Gives you only a verbal bill and does not put anything in writing. Says he worked for you so hard at his home and hugely inflates the bill.
Presents you with a huge bill with no documentation. He says he had to stay on the phone on hold and charges you for it. His final bill is 3 times what his verbal bill is. He seems like such a nice guy and then destroys your computers and puts notes in your computers that says "Pay UR Bill".

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
One upset customer in 5 years of service
AUTHOR: Commsolo Owner - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Friday, December 18, 2009
CommSolo L.L.C. was contacted by Jane T to isolate problems within her home network, preventing her from being able to get online with more then one computer. When she contacted us she was then advised that our hourly billing rate was normally 85 and hour however because of where her referal came from we would discount that to 55 an hour for her. The first day on site we had 2 technicians there and after isolating the problem to her router where then requested to help her set her network up for file sharing and printer sharing. She had 6 computer located in different places through out the house. We proceded to set up a secured home work group and then began the process of print and file sharing she was advised that because she was running multiple operating systems in the home that we would need to install multiple drivers into her sharing PC to accomidate and that we had not allocated that kind of time to her ticket that day. We completed all the work grouping and set printers to share in xp however did not complete the install of vista drivers. Her sharing PC was several years old and she had some Videos and pictures and different irreplaceable files on it and was advised at that time that it would be good to also put in a back up system that was running NTFS formating for the size of her video files and quoted 250 for the back up system. And we scheduled a second trip to install that and finish the printer sharing. Upon the second trip it was discovered that the router was not the only problem and that there was a problem with the authentication of her modem to the cox network. After spending well over an hour on the phone with cox, at her request as she had already attempted to get them out there to fix the problem a trouble ticket and work order date was obtained from Cox. We proceded to install the 1TB Back up system reformated to NTFS on her Main share PC and set it up with folders for other computers on the network to backup to we also installed show my pc on her computers and at that time explained to her that it was for remote support in the event that she needed it she would have to give us the password to grant us access to her PC. Again we ran out of time to finish the sharing of her printer for Vista and as I left she requested a new computer. I explained to her that it may be better to wait until after the new year for the better deals to come along and she said she found one with a vendor of mine for a good price and wanted it along with a new HDMI monitor. I advised that we downgrade the PC from VISTA to XP pro if she wanted it and put her into direct contact with my vendor and requested that my vendor extend to her my pricing on the product. In her conversation with my vendor as he asked where she wanted the order shiped she told him to ship it to me as I had to do work on it anyways. After following thru with my vendor because UPS returned the orginal order to them I recieved the PC. When I began to put XP on it I found that she qualified for a free upgrade from HP to windows 7 and that the drivers for that particular machine where not readily available for XP. I contacted HP jumped thru all the hoops to get the windows 7 disk sent and was told by HP 3 to 5 days shiping time and had to pay the 14 dollars in shipping fees. Mrs. Turbenson contacted me and I then explained to her that I found she could upgrade to Windows 7 for free and that I had ordered the disk from HP and would contact her back as soon as they were received and the new Operating system was installed and that at that time we would finish up any loose ends at the home as well. She said ok and one week later attempted to call me on a monday moring as I was in a seminar and called my phone every two minutes from 8:03am to 9:10 am at the lunch break of my seminar I had our office administrator (my wife) call her and see what the problem was, at this time Mrs. Turbenson in a very irrate manner demanded that she have her computer delivered to her right now and that I was not to step foot into her home. She made acusations to both my wife and vendor that we had stolen her PC and that she never gave authorization for the PC to be shipped to me. And that if it was not given to her right away she would contact the local Police Department and report it stolen. I then contacted Mrs. Turbenson very calmly and asked her what the problem was @ which time she stated that I had taken possesion of her property with out her permission and that she wanted it returned. I explained to her that she had told my wife that she no longer wanted me on her property and that she would need to pay her bill of 528 dollars and she stated that was absord amount of money and that she was quoted 250. I attempted to explain to her that 250 was for the back up solution and that she had paid 167 in parts however that was already credited to the bill at 170 and that she would need to pay the remainder of the bill. She said she absolutley refused and I said that is fine I will return the PC to the vendor and see what other recourse I had to get the bill paid and ended the call. She then made several calls to my vendor in one demanding that they quit providing services to me at the time she was told by a high level supervisor for the company that I had been doing buisness with them for some time and that she is the only person to ever have a problem with us. She made threats to the vendor to contact her credit card company and report fraud. At this point I drove to her house and thru the wireless Router this company set up for her changed her wan ip to a local address and her wireless SSID to Pay ur Bill. We did not change the default password as she had infact paid for the router just not the service of setting it up. Or any of the other services provided to her. She then sent email after email and was notified to Cease and Desist any further contact with my vendors in an attempt to file a complaint. And advised of the legal ramifications of not doing so. She still proceded to contact the vendor and request her credits and assume that the PC would not be returned. After several days of emailing back and Forth with Mrs. T I offered to reduce her bill by over 50% and once I knew her intentions that I would turn her service back on within the hour and once payment was received and verified that I would give her step by steb instructions on how to lock me out. I further offered to take the 1TB drive back and that she could credit herself and additional 250 and pay the difference. She refused said that she was going to sue me.
Please Note when Cox showed up because the Tech was so "rude" she wanted me to rush there right away and I did and in doing so was able to get the Tech to investigate it a little further and find a bad splitter way under her desk.

You have to understand that you did not give me an estimate in writing. It was my understanding that the bill would be around $250. I called and called you because your mailbox was always full. I emailed you and you said you never received it because it went into your spam file. I tried to fax you and they said the fax number was for Western Building Services and not for you..they said it was an incorrect number. You are angry with me but I am angry as well. I paid for service and I cannot access the internet at all. I am at my neighbors house using their internet.

My computers can no longer access the internet. On one of my computers, the keyboard is not functioning with the right keystrokes caused by some type of virus. My cox email address is no longer working. It is illegal to access my home computer without my permission. There is a federal law against it. I told you I would pay you for your work at my home at the rate of $250. which is what I was quoted. Now you have destroyed my whole system. I have an IT tech coming today to verify that you have accessed my home computers without my permission. I have tried to be fair with you. We are preparing litigation against you.

See you in court...you will be paying my LEGAL fees and for this new IT guy to fix what you have done.
That is the conclusion of our correspondence with Mrs.T. After all of it she continued to call the vendor and bug him about her credit attempt to file complaints and make accusations that I was not going to return her PC. Please note the Vendor recieved the PC today only because we gave up on the shipper picking it up and took it to them to ship back costing us yet more time and head ache along with the time and head ache this rebuttal is creating.
Bottom line her service was turned off because she heard what she wanted to hear and absolutley refused to pay her bill. As of todays date she hasnt filed litigation and we can only figure thats because SHE CANT. So she goes to sites like this and attempts to make a bad name for us.
And Further Note the disks were recieved from HP over 14 days after ordering them.
