As an ex-employee at Community Aid in Mechanicsburg, I gained thift store warehouse experience that I had never had before. I enjoyed the employees I worked with. We encouraged and helped each other. I appreicated the team effort by all the warehouse staff. I am looking forward to my new warehouse full-time job with benefits at Goodwil.They are a great bunch of people.The manager there cares about his crew and staff. He has the lowest crew turnover % in their region of 34 stores.

When I look back at Community Aid, I see the frustration of the people who work there. When the director, Glenn Chandler, shows no respect or has no people skills, I see why. They is no encouragement from him or his hand picked off the street management staff.Its pretty bad when you need to watch your back so the management might stab you to protect their jobs. When you are called to the office, we all yell " It was nice knowing you.'' That is pretty bad.It even gets worse when the director and the warehouse manager go though your trash cans and the dumpsters to see if anything valuble gets thrown away. This stuff is free. With the high employee turnover, you would think Glenn would tell Kristin in HR to come up with a better training program to save more employees. Thats right..HR follows the direction of the director and Kristin will never offer that suggestion because she would stand up to Glenn and she might lose her job.Get some balls Kristin. or is it their policy to say you can be replaced.

In closing,Glenn gives a lot of money away to charity which I think that is great. However, when its pushing your employees so much at little pay, then I think this is wrong.Glenn says he is a true christian, then act like one verses pretending to be one. What would JESUS do? JESUS would do much better than GLENN CHANDLER.
