COMPLETE WEIGHT LOSS CENTERS ripoff Charged me for a monthly service I did not request MANDAN North Dakota

In late 2006, I ordered some weight loss pills from Complete Weight Loss. They credited my credit card and I received the pills. I only used them for a short time and then discarded them because they made my heart race.

In April, 2007 I was paying my bills on line and noticed that the charge for #29.95 was on my account for several months consecutively. I immediately called them and the girl said I signed up for some on line diet service. She was very rude. When I asked for the name of the president of the company she would only give me his first name "Paul". She would not let me speak to him. I had no record of making this purchase and they could not provide any proof that I had.

I contacted my credit card company and (CitiCard) they had the charges removed from my card after their investigation. They agreed that the charges were fraudulent.

Complete Weight Loss has been sending me letters since then threatening to destroy my credit. Every time they contact me my bill gets higher. The credit card company credited me about $100. They are now trying to get almost $400 from me. They are threatening to garnish my wages, put me on a "Negative Buyer DataBase" and also to lein my property.

What can we do about this bogus company. What can I do to get them to stop harrassing me?
