I agree with Ripoff Report #566623 that Compu Technologies or is a big ripoff.  They do not post a phone number or even an e-mail on their site so you can contact them if you have problems.  They purposely make it difficult to get in touch with them.  BUYER BEWARE!!!!!  Do not do business with this company.    

On August 31, I ordered 3 computer motherboards to be placed in DELL student computers at my school from Compu Technologies .  That day, I received the one and only e-mail from the Compu Technologies stating that they had received my order.  They added a $60.00 shipping charge for these motherboards.  Since they were used for elementary students and fit into the small computer case, I agreed to pay this fee (but little know to me Compu Technologies  was planning on shipping nothing).   I waited until September 17 and after not hearing from them or seeing any shipping notification, I called American Express and asked them to contact the company for me because I had received nothing and been charged for the motherboards and their outrageous shipping fee.  On September 23, two of the three motherboards were shipped.  On September 25, the final motherboard was shipped.  I finally had received the three motherboards by Oct 12. 

On October 15, I received a letter that I needed to pay a chargeback fee by October 11 or I would have to pay a 35.00 collections fee.  This letter was sent on October 12. (Notice the letter was sent on October 12 with an October 11 deadline.)  Apparently, they have you click agree that you will not report to your credit card if you do not receive the materials that you were charged for by them.  The reason I feel that they do this is if they want to take your money.  You do not get anything and it is pure profit for Compu Technologies.  If you contact the credit card company because you have not received the order, they get another $90.00 for filling your order in chargeback fees and collection fees. 

Compu Technologies has threatened to notify the credit bureaus if  I do not pay this charge.  I, like Ripoff Report 566623, tried to call them, find an e-mail address, or contact them and I could not.    I sent a certified letter to contact them and they refused the letter and it was sent back un-opened.  I have received a second letter from them stating that they are contacting the credit bureaus about me. They also lied and say they have sent numerous e-mails trying to get in touch with me.  But they tell me that I have never tried to contact them and have ignored them.

If any reader has problems with this company, please let me know through Ripoff Report.  I have discussed with American Express about not honoring this company.  I will take all information, present it to the credit card companies and ask that the credit card companies to not do business with Compu Technologies.  I also plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau in New Jersey also about this company.

 Hey genius, if you're going to pretend to post as someone else, the least you could do is change your user ID before doing it. You look like a complete doofus, patting yourself on the back for your "intelligence".  Just changing the post type from "employee" to "consumer comment" is fooling no one.

 Your posts have made it pretty clear that you consider your customers to be the enemy and you feel you have to hide from them. Real businesses have no problem providing contact information. Given the tone of your posts, I suspect that you are some kid operating of your mommy's basement.

Just A Wannabe Company

There's hundreds of companies across the country that sell the same products that you do and they have no embarassment about disclosing their real address or phone numbers. They have real email addresses. They aren't embarassed about revealing their company owners names. And yes, they occasionally have to deal with disgruntled customers, missed deliveries and credit card chargebacks. These are REAL companies, not wannabes. They don't have a ludicrous 'Customer Conduct Policy' in their agreements. They honor their warranties even if the customer is unhappy with their service. Real companies with real people.

You guys aren't it.

First we want to thank the recent post above, at least someone has some intelligence. As for the idiot from Tennesee, Shawn Williams disguising himself as John. You see now what we have to deal with.

All we have to say is that we have tracking information for every single order we ship out. In addition we have all the documentation from these false disputes people file.  The dude above is right....people will purposely disregard contacting companies because they are too lazy and stupid. We've caught people lying on bank documents where we simply print out the log and say ok this is what you said this is what you did.

We had contact information on the sites, but once again you people abused it, you purposely didnt want to listen, well guess what, you got it taken away. We consistently asked nicely, but again you do whatever you feel like doing and guess what, now your forced to do it the way its stated. We're not going to get into a he said she said situation, we print out the support ticket and its 100% raw facts, what we said what you said, nothing disputable. Its all in writing.

Every single one of these complaints are nothing more the bull! these are people that purposely filed false chargebacks, purposely lied to their credit card company, and we said we had enough, so we enforce this policy. You do something to someone and you think nothings going to happpen back? These are nothing but BS morons trying to discredit a company because now a company decided not to take any crap from a buyer. And this is how these people try to get back. They generalize and lie to make people to believe them.

Remember one thing, when we reply back to any of these complaints we come back with sold 100% evidence. Person says they didnt get the item, then we reply back with the tracking information. 100% non disputable information. As far as that moron that filed this report, there is a number and guess what it says, it says go to the support site.

The only thing he said that was the truth was the fact is the chargeback collection policies. Another statement idiot before you get your a*s sued is making an alligation we didnt ship anything, 100% BS! the tracking number has your signature on it. and we posted the tracking information above. Clear example of what we have deal with!

There's a reason for why this company does what it does. Its simple, its because of you buyers! The latest comment, this person is truely an idiot! The reason why they dont place any addresses is for one good reason. You people thats why. People do not follow any type of policies, they think they can do whatever the F they want and other people have to clean up their garbage. You fellow, have no common sense whatsoever. There's no address because people try to return things without contacting the company, DUH. People will return items and file a false chargeback for exact what CompuTechnologies says. 99% of the chargebacks our company gets are all BS. As for that guy above, again computech is right, people will just call their credit card company and file false chargeback after chargeback because they dont want to do call the company.

Im sure this company has a method of contact that they arent disclosing to the general public for a reason. After a buyer buys an item from our company, they get the contact information immediately. How many times people call into our company with no clue on what they are buying, and then when something goes wrong, the person blames the company for giving them the wrong information. So not disclosing that information gets rid of all the people who cause problems. They probably dont disclose it because people call up ask all different kinds of questions and then they go someplace else to buy it. Thats a waste of any company's time.

We've looked at each reply CompuTech has done and they back everything up with tracking information. People make all sorts of lies only for one reason, to discredit companies for their own bs reasons. If you tell someone that you read and agreed to something, and then think it doesnt apply to you you got another thing coming! This person agreed to something, didnt care about it, and then CompuTech fired back at that person, the person got all 2 year old and decided to post this. Cowardly!

And as for you, all you said is a joke! Any type of agreement is admissable in court. In fact, there are chargeback fees which are charged to companies from processing companies that arent non refundable. So Computech can sue the buyer for damages. Legally you have 30 days to deliver a product. CompuTech provided the tracking information and said the person's signature is on the package. Open and shut! You and that person can share that one leg to stand on!

That company like they said they posted that information, he agreed to it, CompuTech didnt do anything until that person filed a falsechargeback. If CompuTech can prove the buyer didnt even bother to contact them, ha is what I got to say to your comments. Im just glad a company is actually fighting back. Is that old saying that you buyer's purposely abuse, and the customer is not always right!

Unbelievable Web Site

Thsi website is truly unbelievable. No real CONTACT page. No physical address shown, not even a mail drop. Do you operate out of someones bedroom?

If you check the domain registration via WHOIS there's no real contact info shown, just the hosting organization. This is always a red flag in my book.

As for the terms and conditions, THEY ARE INVALID. Since the actual company name and address are not specified anywhere in the document it is unenforcable in any US court.  What a joke.

Here's your chance to prove you are indeed a real business entity.

Company Name

Company Address (hopefully not a PO Box or UPS Store mailbox)

Company Phone (listed in the local telephone book)

Email address (gmail, hotmail and yahoo accounts don't count)

I expect you to pass on this opportunity. :)

What company name was used to process the charge card transaction? I suspect they are using a 3rd party credit card processor. Let us know.

Unbelievable Lies

The prices of whatever you purchased was clearly stated on the website. The product price and shipping was stated right there infront of you. If you did not agree with the pricing you simply should of purchased it elsewhere. But the fact is agreed to the terms and conditions of the sale, entered your credit card information and clicked on the submit button. That means that you legally entered into a legal and binding contract, the stated amount was stated and you submitted payment information regarding the purchase. If you didn't agree with the price, simple go elsewhere.

We're getting sick and tired of people making the same old excuse and lies saying you didn't have a method of contacting our company. The information starting from the purchase right down to the shipment of the item was sent to the email address that you provided on the sales order. Each one of those emails clearly stated the company policies and our position against people filing BS chargebacks like this person.

When you bought the item you agreed to the terms and conditions of the sale, you clicked on a box that stated to our company that you had read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the sale. Those where the policies that you told our company that you had read and agreed to. Under those terms were the conditions in which we were willing to sell you this item. In addition, you received 6 or more emails that outlined the policies. No excuses saying oh I never got them. The policies where also enclosed in both boxes and another copy was physically glued to the packing material of the item. So stop making excuses and lies.

Reality is that you had the emails physically in your possession, you had the company policies in your hand, you legally agreed to a set terms and conditions of the sale. You filed a false chargeback, we enforced the policies, we sent you a formal letter, you purposely decided to ignore the first letter, so you got sent to collections. You were clearly aware of these policies and the actions we would take against anyone filing chargebacks and disputes. You knew it and decided to purposely violate these policies. Therefore, we exercised these policies you agreed to.

Don't site sit there and write on this site like your some innocient victim. If you couldnt find an email address, then how did we sent you the emails regarding the sale? The only reason why your bsing on this report is the fact this debt is going on your report. You knew about the policies prior to the sale Steven Waunch and initiated actions which violated the contract you entered into.

When you write to the BBB make sure you tell them, that you agreed to the terms and conditions when you made the purchase, and these policies regarding chargeback and collections and the stated fees where clearly stated in the policies prior to purchase. Make sure you tell them, that you filed a chargeback for non receipt of merchandise and that USPS Tracking #42099021912144008600194525912 has your signature on it.

Other people have no problem going to our support site, mysteriously they found ways of contacting us, and your the mysterious exception. The facts are that you had all the information in your possession, they were physically glued to the items, you admit receiving them, and before, after, and to this point, you never once contacted the support site.

Reality, and Amex, Visa & Mastercard, know this, is that you people dont bother contacting the company you purchased items form. You that lazy and say oh i'll just file a dispute and let the credit card companies handle it, as long as I dont have to do anything and let someone else do it.  Regardless of your lies, we know you received the emails, we know you have them in your hands.

We just googled your domain name that you had left as your and guess what ITS A DEAD SITE! Its a Google Apps site that says WELCOME TO XXX.ORG. That was the same email address with the same domain name you had placed on your sales order. You entered that information in there, it was your domain that you owned.

Another moron placing false information just to discredit a company!
