Sadly this company still exists to prey on people who internet shop. My story is typical of the many already reported. Ordered, never delivered, couldn't contact company without providing a credit card number through their fake contact service center. Filed stop payment with Discover, who contacted the Compu Technolgies, got another email from Compu Technologies saying they had shipping problems ard were sending a replacement, finally got that and they provided that information to Discover to avoid the charge back. They got paid, but because I contacted Discover Compu Technologies sends a "bill" for $60 claiming I violated their contract and threatening that if I don't send them the $60 they will make further charges and ruin my credit. Have had extensive conversations with Discover and had to change my accout to avoid having Compu Technologies having my credit card information. Have contacted the BBB in their area and received email from them that the company does not exist. Discover has referred the information to their Fraud Department, so I would advise that if you are also a victim to pursue your issue through your credit card company and perhaps they too will stop accepting charges from this company.

Perhaps the phone # and address below will work as they go to the domain name, registrant name, and administrator contact for their webserver. I've not called this nor attemped the email so don't know if they are valid. If someone else does and gets a response, post back here and let everyone else know.

Hey, 'employees'

You guys are the idiots. No class, and liars. Look at the way you talk to your customers. I also had a problem with you morons - you sent me a threatening letter as well saying I should know this situation because you sent me 5 emails...I didn't get 2, I got ONE that was it. Why can't you just be a good business and take out the contract and just be straight up? Too easy to rip people off? Judging by other's on this sites comments on you, you don't really send 5 emails, you just use that as a scare tactic.

Follow their advice

This sorry piece of crap company has links on its web pages for "About Us," "Services," "Contacts," and "Help." None of the links work, except for the one about "Company Policies."
The policies are too long to quote in their entirety, but here are the highlights:
"At no time must the buyer assume, the picture of item advertised it the actual item being sent to buyer." (I am not making this up; it really says that.)
"The buyer understands they must contact our company via the support site provided by company. The buyer is not to use any other contact method other than the support link provided by the company. The support site information will be given to the buyer shortly after the completion of the checkout process. There will be a link in each email sent to email address which has been provided by the buyer on the checkout process. Buyer understands they must contact our company with any questions via this support link only and by no other means. Buyer understands they are responsible for the receipt of these emails at the email address which has been provided to company by them. The buyer is responsible to ensure they have a valid email address and checking any type of spam filter software or any other application or methods which prevent the transmission of any information by our company." (Let me see if I got this correct: I cannot ask a question before I buy because the only means of contact will not be disclosed until after I have made a purchase?)
"We reserve the right to void all warranties and communication with any customer who conducts themselves in a less then professional manner when communicating with our company." (You void the warranty if you hurt their feelings.)
"Buyers who initiates a chargeback/financial dispute are subject to a disputes fee of seventy dollar. Any chargeback/financial dispute, which are found to be fraudulent in nature will also be reported to the appropriate authorities for mail order fraud.. If payment for these fees are not paid in full by stated due date, the buyer will be sent to a collection agency, where an additional fifty dollar collection fee will be added to the amount owed. If after this second attempt to recover funds has not been successful, the collection agency will be instructed to report the debt to all of major credit reporting agency. Once reported, it will remain on the buyers credit report e permanently for a period of seven to thirteen years. As stated above, if the chargeback/dispute is found to be of a fraudulent nature, legal action will be immediately taken." (Visa, AMEX, Mastercard, and Discover may have a little different opinion as to the legality of this policy.)
"If any buyer does not agree with the terms & conditions of our company, we strongly recommend the buyer purchase the item elsewhere." (This is one shopper who will do just that!)

Actually I have both the Shipment Invoice from the box and the label from the outside of the box and there is no phone number for this company on them. Nor is there a return address. The only hint is that the box was Mailed from ZIP 07034. Perhaps Compu Technologies should publish a working phone number here at Ripoff for their customers who would like to contact them.

The Biggest BS Artist
AUTHOR: Retailoperations - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, June 11, 2011
Run your mouth off like that idiot. The support site is there it exists. There's a link after every purchase to customers. Its in every single email you get from our company. its on the invoice when you get the item and its physically taped to the box. The phone number you call tells you to go right to th support website. So dont sit there you BS artist.
As far as our support site - IT DOES NOT ASK FOR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. Your such a moron! We dont have this idiots or anyone elses credit card information. The only thing we see is the last 4 digits of the credit card, its all automated. We dont want the headache or bs from people like this idiot making all types of bs statemetns like he is doing. The only thing we can do, is refund or give a partial refund of whatever is charged. Any merchant that owns an online store that has a merchant account knows this and can back us up 100%.
We dont want the headache of idiots like him saying oh you stole or cc information and used to buy things. The fact is this idiot filed a complaint with the BBB 2 days after he bought the item. So yeah you did get the item after the fact. Oh we dont exist, thats right
You never got it right Tom you liar! Item was signed for your own family member!
Label/Receipt Number: 9410 8102 0079 3548 0774 03
Status: Delivered
Your item was delivered at 4:13 pm on April 04, 2011 in CARLSBAD, CA 92009. The item was signed for by P B.

The charge to my account by Compu Technologies was made on Feb 26, and the item only got delivered after I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a report with Discover. Only then did I get an email from Compu Technologies that blamed the shipping company for non-delivery and said they would reship the item. Any replies to the long emails that Compu Technologies sends detailing their extensive policies related to generating charges against their customers get returned as undeliverable. There is a supposed web based contact system, but if a customer tries to use it, the customer must supply their credit card information in order to contact the company. I would presume this is so that another charge can be made against the customer's credit card. So, let's see, I paid for the item and finally got it. I never charged back Compu Technologies for the item, and now I get a threatening letter, which by the way has no return address, that I am being charged $60.

Just Another Lie From Another Scam Artist
AUTHOR: Retailoperations - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, May 12, 2011
Lets break down Thomas Brammell's outright lies.
1. LIE #1 says item was never delivered :
Your item was delivered at 4:13 pm on April 04, 2011 in CARLSBAD, CA 92009. The item was signed for by P B.
Your such a LIAR! We even have a signature confirming delivery of the item over a month ago and you write this false report a month later knowing full well you have the item.
2. LIE #2 : Says we billed them $60 for nothing
The company policies clearly state the chargeback and collection policies. This moron clicked on in two areas of the checkout process before and during that stated that he had read and agreed to the policies. If you didnt agree you should of never bought the item. At the end of the checkout the company policies were displayed point blank in your face. You had several emails of the company policies emailed to you (and dont BS anyone stating you didnt get any). That is one of the reasons why we only place or support link is in emails is to prove BS artists like you are doing such that BSing people.
3. LIE #3 : We dont exist hu then how could we post a tracking number with your your wife's signature.
You came into our support site and the first thing you had to do, was sign a document that stated our that outlined our company policies and point blank the chargeback and collecitons policies where right there. The second you hit enter you get two more reminders regarding chargebacks. So dont sit there and say you didnt know.
The only reason why this idiot posted this BS was the fact that he was taken to collections for what he outrightly knew the actions our company would take if he did. He didnt bother do to anything. This moron is only posting this as retaltion.
Now if you read our policies, now your going to get sued for slander.
