hurley state bank - gateway and computer finance llc ripoff like all the others on the rip-off report

My husband and I bought a pc through gateway, which I have no problem with them. We gave $1300 for it and now we still owe $2200, on the dag on thing. From my understanding hurley state bank sold their accounts to Computer Finance llc, which is a big fat ripp off company.

They charge $29.00 a mth late fees whether it is late or not. $ 50.00 a month finance charge as well as a 28.60% annually. I had gotten a few mths behind on the account and when I called to make arrangements to pay ot off they were very unwilling to work with me.

Kept telling me that they don't own the loan that they are just trying to collect for the bank, that Gateway still owned 70% of the account. How's that possible, because it was not financed through gateway it was financed the hurley state bank. Paying them the minium payment is $70 per mtn, but they add $50 a mth plus $29 late fee. pay 70 and still owe 10 now that is rediculose and should be against the law.

They put me through to 3 different people and everyone of them give me a different balance on the account, what's with that? I offered to pay off the balance that they have now if they would stop adding the 50 $ a month finance charge and they thought that I was crazy, They were very rude and mean people except for one guy hr was nice but not willing to work with me.

I told them that I would file bankruptcy before I will pay them. They have already added almost $1000.00 in interest that should be enough. You would think that they would want to collect there money. Well I got news for them they will never get another penny out of me unless they are willing to work with me. I even ask them to turn it over to a collection agency, because they don't charge that much and are willing to work with you.
