never trust the bbb

Contacted the bbb-southland; web page bbbsouthland.org;wanted to get a report on a company in california; paid the money for a report with a credit card;the bbb said that they were a member in good standind had two complaints which were solved to the customers satisfaction.

So, since I was interested in this; I sent the company 8,725.00.;got ripped-off;contacted the supervisor of the bbb who called the company;company agreed to a refund; never gotit.

The bbb told me you are screwed;so out of curiosity a month later I asked on-line for a reliability report for the same company;they are still listed as a member in good standing "subscribing to ethical business standards" and that all complaints against the company were settled satisfactorally?

unbelievable-angry and confused;I filed a complaint with the bbb against them;received an email saying that the supervisor helped me etc;etc;?they would not even answer my complaint.

So a month after this I had a friend in a different part of the state get a reliability report on the same company;the report reads that they are a member in good standing;all compalints against the company were resolved to the customers satisfaction. Knowing that the company lied to the bbb supervisor;played games with her;lied through her teeth; and still has a satisfactory business rating. If I would have known this is how the bbb operates;I would never have trusted them and I would never have sent this company money.
